Straight forward replacement for a faulty pump in a Hisense DH7021KP1G dehumidifier. The metal chassis does not include grounding screw locations on the side, which is not surprising since it's not specifically designed for this dehumidifier unit, but can be worked around by utilizing one of the bottom screws as a grounding location and putting a thin washer on the other screw to balance it out. It does include the little pocket mount for the thermal protection fuse on the front, just like the factory pump unit. Tested and confirmed the amount of water moved during a minute period matches the specs.

We were looking for a pump for our Rug Doctor. While reviewing the specs on this pump they did not match but we decided to give it a try anyway. Well the output is too low so it would not work. It is no fault of the manufacturer as the lower output was in the description, we just too a chance. Since it was properly described I did not even attempt to return it. It was as described and I will find a home for it in some future "project".

The specs for this pump do not tell you the specs of the coil. The coil on this has a diode embedded within the casing whereas the original coil does not making this coil unusable. But... even though the coil is electrically different, the rest of the parts are 99% identical to original pump with the minor difference being the metal frame is a few thousandths larger and makes no difference for this application. Long story short - use everything from the new pump except for the coil. The only specs are 16W, 110-120VAC, 90cc, Class H frame and the temp ratings which match with the original Haan pump. If you look at the photo showing the coil front, you can see a diode symbol - which I missed - and is not on the original. Readings on the original coil is 272 Ohms. On this coil it's 7Meg Ohms in one direction and open in the other when using a volt/ohm meter so it doesn't work on the Haan SI-70R steam mop. You can easily disassemble this pump (2 small screws) pull out the pump mechanism and remove the coil from the metal frame (simply push it from one side). Insert old coil (if it measures ok) and then re-assemble using the rest of the new parts. It works great. I was going to return it but in my case, the original pump coil measured good and the pump mechanism inside failed so easier to swap parts around. It fits exactly the same as the old. You reuse the original mounts for the pump, they simply slid on/off.

This pump worked better than I expected it too I used it on my genius/shark brand steam mop 5000 series. . Although the pump is physically bigger than the original one that comes on a steam mop it does not overfill the heating element And with just very slight modification to the placement of the pump and maybe the hose is used to connect the pump to the heating element . No cutting or plastic welding required.

Is a replacement for my GE dehumidifier, model no: APEL50LZQ1 Doesn't pump out the dehumidifier reservoir water fast at all. And only pumps about a third of the water out before shutting off.

This unit replaced the burnt out pump in my 95 pint Danby dehumidifier. Wasn’t an exact fit, but I made it work. This pump runs so quietly I didn’t even know it was pumping.. hopefully will keep the old girl running for another 6 years. Very happy customer.

My Haan steam mop stopped working and wasn't pumping water through anymore. Using this pump replacement worked perfectly. Fixed my $200 steam mop so that I didn't have to buy a new one. Saved me from throwing it in the landfill! I bought the warranty from Amazon too as I've heard it's very good.

The item was defective with an open circuit between the two electrical contacts.
