These can be a bit difficult to use if you aren't use to them. I am a watercolor artist so these aren't too different from what I do when I paint. It is an alcoholic base so it will be quick drying and spreads rapidly. Start with a couple small drops at first until you are familiar with it, let them spread and move your finger side to side if you want it to go in different directions and then continue with more once the first layer dries. The more layers, the deeper the color so if you don't want it to be too deep then be careful how much you put on. If you don't like the results then you can always use the clear one to spread the rest of it. Just be warned: it will make it spread to the corners of your nail if you aren't careful, and if you use more than one color like I do, they will mix. Overall, I love these. I find them a lot of fun and a nice challenge when I'm up for it. I feel very proud of the responses I get when I use them.

Magic Blooming gel polish preforms as expected. Fairly easy to use. This was my first time using this product and I was able to create the marbling look. It will take more practice, but the polish is easy to use. This gel polish set has a nice variety of colors, but I like the black best. As you can see in the first picture the yellow polish was significantly lower in quantity than the other colors. I am not sure what happened, but a little disappointed that one of the colors lost about a quarter of it's contents. Over all this product preforms as described and I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to try the Magic Blooming gel polish set.

I bought the Magic Blooming nail polish as an alternative to water marbling. I used my base coat and a color called White on White 70255 by another company. Modelones instructs this in a little pamphlet that comes with the polishes. I then attempted to vein my nails with the brush in the bottles. That didn't work so well but I kept going. I wound up with this scribbly kids drawing on my nails. I figured might as well finish it. Wow! The top coat pulled the colors and the look together into this cool watercolor effect that I love. I placed some dreamcatcher and feather stickers on top, another coating of top coat and was absolutely pleased.I do have thin nail brushes and I'm now sure I can get a veined marble effect using them instead. You also don't need much polish to create the various effects. I'm also looking forward to using my stained glass nail stamp over these polishes. The photos are of my 2nd manicure. My hands are always in water but the manicure held up very well. The polish says gel but I was able to remove it with regular nail polish remover. Great price for the 7 bottles you get. I've paid that for one or 2 bottles. I had a lot of fun experimenting and will post more pictures with the different looks.

Love the polishes. But not the packaging. The bottles were stacked on top of each other so The clear one came empty. So that was disappointing. But the other colors where beautiful and worked very well. I had to use alcohol since the clear was empty.

I’v been doing my gel manicures at home for a couple of years now. I’ve pretty much perfected a solid color gel manicure and wanted to branch out to something different. This was my first attempt at using alcohol gels. It was pretty easy to use but I feel it will become even easier as I use it more. My spring manicure came out pretty good considering that I’m a novice. I wish the colors were a bit more saturated. It took me numerous coats to achieve an acceptable look. Other than that I’m happy with the purchase and I’d recommend giving it a shot if your looking for something that’s fairly easy to use to spruce up a plain manicure.
