TORROPremium Leather cell phone case compatible with iPhone XR, Stand Case for Apple iPhone XR (Handmade, Black Italian leather)

When I first purchased this product for my husband's new iPhone Xr in May, it looked very nice and my husband loved it. However, he has been having problems with his phone closing down and we decided to try and boost it. The iPhone however was stuck in the wallet and the photos below are the repercussions of removing it. It was supposed to be magnetic. It has completely ruined the phone. I also have one and concerned that if I try to remove it, this is what will happen to mine. These were both new phones just 3 months ago. I will be contacting Amazon today.

Firstly, the leather is lush and you can see the quality is good. I remain to be convinced the plastic phone holder is of the same quality as it seems a bit thin. Many callers cannot hear me when I use this case, they say I am muffled? Toro have responded with a diagram explaining iPhone XR microphone placement makes the case sensitive to using the wrong microphone unless you hold it firmly so that the front flap is pressed firmly against the rear panel when holding to your ear. I now make calls using the “death grip” like a WWF wrestler - the gushing reviews I read before purchasing made no reference to this which makes them lack credibility...

First impressions it’s a beautiful case. Well made. The red detailing really does give it that extra boost of style and subtle touch. The rubber case was a bit of a pain to get the phone in however don’t let this discredit the case!! Rather a sturdy rubber casing instead of a cheap thin flimsy one. Feels very nice in the hand once it’s ‘broken in’ a bit. Straight out the box it is a bit rigid to hold. Hidden magnets are a delight! No annoying flimsy clasp to hold it shut. Works well, personally would’ve liked a bit more of a hold but overall it works beautifully. Asides the little niggles like the rigid feel from the box, would personally want stronger magnets and the minor struggle to get the phone in. A fantastic case.5/5 would recommend!!

Pros:- Leather is soft, supple and of high quality.- iPhone XR fits securely and the card and cash pouches are a nice addition.- Comfortable to hold in portrait mode.Cons:- Horizontal viewing can be awkward and requires bending the case back on itself which might impact its longevity.- If cards are put into the card holders, the case does not ‘snap’ closed.Overall, I like this phone case. The leather is of a good quality and feels nice to hold. The phone is secure in the case and does not feel like it will drop out. I would question how well protected the phone is from drops and falls as there is not a lot of impact protection that I can see so I think that this is a ‘form over function’ case as opposed to something truly indestructible.On the topic of form, my major issue with this phone case is that, if multiple cards are placed in the purposefully designed card slots, the phone case no longer ‘snaps’ closed meaning that the flap is loose. This may be a similar design issue with all phone cases of this type but it seems odd to me that a design feature would cause this. Something to be mindful of if you purchase this for your iPhone XR.

Perfect case, not a stitch out of line, for perfectionists/OCD users this would be excellent.The magnet in the front cover keeps the case closed, but not when it has 3 cards in it.It fits the phone perfectly with all cut outs spot on.I have owned this brand before and would certainly buy from them again.Expensive but like most things in life you get what you pay for.
