Please NOTE this is NOT FDA approved.I read all the comments and tired this product as well as other supplements online & at stores like GNC. If it is not approved by the FDA then think twice before taking.I felt great on this Green Tea Extract.After 6 months of being on this product what I didn’t realize is the effect this was causing to my liver.For 5 months doctors/specialist could not figure out what was wrong with me: Extreme fatigue, excessive thirst, aversion to food, loss of appetite...then my eyes turned yellow and i knew it was serious. Labwork indictaed liver enzymes extremely high, well outside normal range. Typical range is 0-30 and mine were over 1200. Immediately I was having ultrasounds and liver biopsies...EACH one knew about the supplents and could NOT stress more to STOP and never take anything online or non FDA approved. Read any article online about the effects of Green Tea Extract and liver damage...I am walking proof!!!Take with your own risk. While you may find short term benefits of weight loss and may not be in any of their “Do not take if you are ... patient” this does not expempt anyone from real health issues.Do your own homework!!!!

I believe this is a quality product. I have tried taking this more than once, but sometimes I experience unfortunate side effects, nausea and headache, but only when taken without food. Maybe it is just the potency? Not sure, so take caution. Zhou does state to take with food though... I've been taking it for a few weeks and I haven't really noticed any effects either.I'm also not a fan of the additives, specifically, magnesium stearate, but no stars were taken off for that because the company is up front about it. I just wish it wasn't in there, but I understand. They are made by hydrogenating cottonseed or palm oil and are used throughout the supplements industry as lubricants; they are added to the raw materials so that machinery will run at maximum speeds.Stearates coat every particle of the nutrients, so the particles will flow rapidly. This ensures that production schedules will meet profit targets. These substances decrease the absorption of nutrients; in a published study, the percent dissolution for capsules after 20 minutes in solution went from 90% without stearates to 25% with stearates. Individuals with impaired digestion may have particular difficulty absorbing nutrients coated with stearates....cottonseed oil has the highest content of pesticide residues of all commercial oils. In the hydrogenation process, the oil is subjected to high heat and pressure in the presence of a metal catalyst for several hours. I purchased this product, as a metabolism boost, to aid with weight loss. Using Green Tea extract, along with diet changes and working out has caused me to lose 30 pounds. Thank you.

I was always fairly slender and active but within a six month time my weight ballooned from 109 to 150. I was depressed, exhausted, and continued to gain weight no matter how much I worked out. After being tested repeatedly and told they could find nothing wrong, I started doing my own research. That's when I came across this product. Now the weight isn't "sliding" off like it used to, it is taking some hard work, but my energy levels are back to normal, I feel like I can concentrate, and I have lost 10 pounds in 3 weeks. I am thoroughly impressed!

I realize that this obviously reacts differently based on the person but when I took this for the first time in a few hours I got chest pains like I've never had before. It hurt to breathe and it only helped if I lay down. They were these sharp stabbing pains all over my chest and abdomen and while I didn't end up going, it was the closest I've ever come to going to the ER. This product genuinely scared me and I've never felt like that before. I wish I could report it but there are so many good reviews that I have to accept the fact that I might have just been an anomaly, but I really don't think it's worth the risk. I was lying in bed panicking and taking pictures of the bottle because I thought I was gonna pass out and people would need to know what I took. All I have to say is that this scared me so much and I don't think someone should risk having a negative affect like this.Update: The company contacted me about my situation in a very professional manner, and it is possible that the capsules were expired or I simply had a strange reaction. I'm raising my review slightly because I am used to companies ignoring their customers and I respect this company for contacting me.
