Spot clean every day and thorough clean once a week, with water, dry and then new bedding. We always retain a little of his old bedding that's not soiled to help him recognise his home. He is always frantic and explores every corner after a clean! Very good price. High quality material and design. It was easy to assemble, I didn't even need to open the manual. Really worth buying. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good *by N***I on 28 December 2025* I bought this cage for my dwarf Djungarian hamster, and overall the size is perfect for him. He doesn’t fall from the upper levels, which was something I worried about — so that’s great. However, there are a few downsides. The exercise wheel is very slippery, and he kept flying out of it. I had to cover the inside with medical tape to make it safer. Also, assembling the cage wasn’t very easy — one of the ladder connectors even broke during setup, but I didn’t bother returning it. The doors are also not the most convenient to use.
