A: Hi there, Our syrup has 2 grams net carbs per serving (2 tablespoons). The rest of the total carbs come from allulose, a rare sugar that we can't metabolize. It tastes like sugar and acts like sugar, but doesn't get metabolized in the body or spike blood sugar, making it 0 net carbs per serving of our syrup, keto friendly, and diabetic friendly. **Q: does it need to refrigerate after opening?**

**Q: Candida friendly?**
A: I know someone already answered but wanted to chime in as well. I have candida issues and Seborrhoeic Dermatitis on my scalp (thought to be caused by another yeast, Malassezia). This syrup does not trigger my issues either.

I have been purchasing another brand of this similar item. I will not do that again. This is far superior and has a decent, if not good, taste. I like a lot of syrup but without the high sugar of maple syrup. This is very expensive but I have decided it's flavor makes it worth the purchase. I will cut corners elsewhere.
