Can it be used to wrap around a modem or router? Is it heat resistant?

Thank you for contacting us with your questions and concerns, we are happy to assist you. Our EMF protection scarf is designed to protect the body, not to be used as a modem/router cover.

We understand that you're looking for a recommendation for router shielding.  While we would absolutely love to be able to provide this information to you, unfortunately, we are unable to comment.  Products that are not designed, manufactured or tested by DefenderShield are beyond our scope of knowledge in reference to efficacy and durability.  We have not been trained on or with these products and can not, in good conscience recommend something that may work perfectly because it's also possible that it won't work at all.

We generally recommend using the same scrutiny when shopping for router covers that you did with DefenderShield.

Things to look for are:

Independent scientific lab results 
Reviews (especially from folks with hypersensitivity as they can feel these frequencies and are able to instantly determine if these devices are working)
Companies that have been in business for a long time

Why is there no disclosure of the fabric? Nor any information about washing?

Our EMF Radiation Protection Scarf is a light, packable, and versatile EMF clothing product that you can place anywhere around vulnerable or more EMF-exposed parts of your body to block wireless emissions. Our scarf is composed of 53% silver fiber and  47% polyester, We encourage gentle handwashing and hanging to dry as the preferred method of caring for the blanket as continued use with a high level of agitation in a washing machine can potentially break down the shielding material. We do not recommend utilizing the gentle cycle of the washer or dryer to protect the integrity of the shielding material. Other customers occasionally use an alternative throw blanket over the top of our shielding blanket to reduce the need for washing altogether. We hope this information helps!

If this is hung over a circuit breaker box in the house will it reduce the emfs?

Our scarf protects against Radio Frequency (RF) only. Circuit breakers produce Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) EMF's. Our scarf does not block ELF from a circuit breaker.

Can this be washed?

I hand washed this fabric in warm water. I used only a few drops of mild liquid soap . Hang to dry, it will turn out great.
