Gaiam Yoga Block + Yoga Strap Combo Set

I first purchased the purple set (block + strap) in the store, then I signed up for a yoga workshop that 2 blocks are needed. So I searched on Amazon for the same product, ordered the grey one (block + strap). And the two blocks are not identical in height, I was so surprised. This wouldn't work with alignment poses. So I contacted the customer service from Gaiam's website, they gave me a discount code and told me they make different sizes for different retailers. WHAT???? But the dimension shown are both 9"W x 6"H x 4"D... so the moral of the story is buy 2 blocks at once, even if its the same brand. I was NOT happy with this!!!!

I was perusing several block/strap combos when I decided to go with the Gaiam brand. But I failed to notice that this particular item includes only one block, when all the others included two. Who uses only one block in yoga? Also, I found this exact same item with the typical two blocks for about two dollars more. So, be careful and make sure you identify which item you are purchasing before you click "Buy With One Click Now"

This brand is a go to for a reason! Simple, sturdy, and fairly priced - you won't find a better deal at TJ maxx or anywhere. I almost wish there was an option to buy two blocks and one strap; but either way, the color choices are nice. The block is sturdy and great. Note that the strap is not a stretchy/resistance band just a yoga strap - you should only use if you know how to safely.

Get these now! I started doing yoga at home because of the pandemic and these have been essential for stretches. I’m a total newbie and so it’s hard to hold some poses and stuff without assistance and these are a great and don’t hurt my hands or anything. I wish I had gotten them a long time ago. Love love love!

As expected, Gaiam delivers quality products. No complaints on either product. My yoga studio uses Gaiam blocks, and those suckers are still going strong after months of heavy use.Everyone with a home yoga practice should invest in these simple props (if anything, get two blocks for poses where you might use a block under each hand). Straps and blocks help you explore new poses safely as you build up your flexibility and range of motion.
