will this product harm my wood floors that are treated with poly?

I put this product on three area rugs last summer that are all on hardwood floors and I have not had any problem with them!! It works well and I'm very happy with the results!

For rugs, do you have to brush the product on the entire back, or will it be sufficient to brush the 4 corners only?

I put it on the entire surface because if you only put it on the corners, it could still easily slip around on the floor. wherever your foot lands on the rug, if there isn't any skid protection there, it will be as though you didn't put any on the rug at all. Also, you probably will want to put on 2 or 3 coats, letting each coat dry before applying the next. it works great on the rugs I've used it on.

I would not think so but it does dry clear so you dont really see it. Goes on white- dries clear.
