Observe, imagine, sketch and draw. Same as the Classic Notebooks with Hard Cover, except paper: ivory coloured acid-free 165 g/m² art paper. Produced using pigmented pulp, this rich sketch-grade paper stands up to eraser use and is an excellent base for all dry media such as Moleskine drawing pencils, pastels and charcoal, as well as Moleskine pens, fountain pens and markers.

Review: Love these sketchbooks - Love these sketchbooks! The paper is super smooth, which I love for my ink and markers. Not as well suited for wet mediums but it handles acrylic well and I practice watercolour in there occasionally, even if the paper gets a bit rough after some use. Any water based marker will work wonders in this sketchbook, alcohol markers bleed through the paper, but the surface takes to it well. I haven't found a sketchbook that doesn't bleed through with the alcohol markers. Bit pricey, but the paper is really nice and the binding looks super professional.

**Q: Trying to replace my Moleskine 3.5 x 5.5 sketchbook that has 40 pages. This says 80 pages. Are they counting front and back of 40 sheets of paper?**
A: 80 sheets of paper.  Just counted the, well forty of them anyway.  There are 80:pages.  Love this paper.

**Q: What weight is the paper?**
A: I'm not sure the paper weight, but it states, top quality heavy paper and is perfect for on the go drawings, sketches and tempera colors.

**Q: Need a belt case to hold it and a few mechanical pencils. My phone case is almost big enough - it holds the thin Moleskine but not this one. Ideas?**
A: Check our Amazon for a pouch.  I bought one that came with a shoulder belt.  I just carry mine in my purse.  Enjoy the moleskine, I love those sketch books 💕

**Q: Will this work in a printer?**
A: I don't think the paper is good for painting

Love these sketchbooks! The paper is super smooth, which I love for my ink and markers.
