Great addition to my Queen funko collection

I have been terrified of the cover art of News of the World since my dad had the 8 track back in the early 80s. (My own CD has the artwork turned inside out. I'm in my 40s and I still can't look at it). My daughter discovered this fact several years ago when we were watching that Family Guy episode. So of course she got this for me, didn't say anything, and wasn't home when the package arrived. She called me when she got the notification that it was delivered and asked me to open the present she got for me.Heck yes, I jumped.She's a sneaky brat, but I love her more than anything, so I have it displayed in my den in a way that others can see it but I can't when I'm at my desk.Even though that just means... it's watching me.

Funko and their team always seem to know when to tap you on the shoulder and say “Hey, remember when...” right when you begin to think our past idols and pop culture icons are dead and gone. The new Funko Album Series is no different and a refreshingly fantastic idea. While there are only a few releases to date, Queen’s “News of the World” and the giant robot-being that haunted all our dreams when we first saw it, is an excellent start. I’m certain there will be many more gems to come, including a tribute to everyone’s favorite album cover of all time, “Two Virgins”.

All in all this a really cool collectable. It has a hard plastic case, the figurine is mouted so it doesn't floo around inside. It showed up in mint condition. My only issue is that the robot itself was mounted crooked, so in order for me to fix it i would have to open the case and i don't want to do that. I would still order more unless they are all crooked

I knew what I was getting when I purchased it. A reproduction of a classic Queen album cover and a Funko Pop version of the robot on said cover. I love Queen as a band and News of the World is one of my favorite albums. That said, after a couple of days it became just another thing to gather dust on a shelf. There is no real joy for me in looking at it because I think about the price and realize what else I could have spent that amount of money on.

i can recall this record album in my brothers room when i was younger. I loved the art work on the album so it was a must have for me! its perfect, you cant ask for anything more!

La caja interior que contiene el funko viene sellada también, está bastante bonito en general.

Nothing to dislike, it's awesome.Even more, i use it to put Stewie in his place.

Quite happy with the figurine itself, had no damage to it . However the cardboard box did and as someone who likes to display their funko pops with in the box that part was a bit of a let down but except for that it's fab!!!
