Doesn't replacing the lenses with your own rx defeat the purpose of the glasses?

If a person wore corrective lenses, it would be smarter for them to get the coatings offered by their optometrist.So changing the lenses out of these glasses would just give you ugly frames..........

How do you know what magnification to select?

You can select the magnification power by clicking the "Size" dropdown list on this product. It is a bit confusing by naming it as "Size" instead of "Power". I select 2.5 which is the same power for my father's reading glasses and it worked very well.

From what I have research, I found a sight that has ratings from all the different types of glasses and they have these ones to be: Wave Lengths 400/425/450/480/520/570 - 95%/50%/20%/15%/5%/0%

what does Size: 53-16-140 mean?
