I have an Asrock Mini-ITX Z97 ITX AC, and I had to rip a few of the fins off one ram module in order for this to clear it.as for cooling, it works great, and has plenty of fan speed, when on high this thing can really scream, its not overly loud, but its about as loud as an other high RPM fan.if you want cooling, good price, and don't have a ton of space, (ie ITX builds) this is perfect if you don't care about a bit of fan noise. its not the louded fan ever, but it can get loud to some people. Must be installed before motherboard is placed in the case. Running i7 3770 at 3.4 - 3.9 GHz, at full load only 30.4 C. Gave it 4 stars for some difficulty attaching to motherboard. The fins hang over the bolts that need to be tightened to the braces. Had to use a wrench attached to a phillips screw head to tighten, a screw driver won't fit. Too bad they don't use bolts with a hex wrench fitting.
