So far so good. Ordered the 5 ch 3700w version as well to power 2 8in and 2 12in Polk db+ subs . Well see what it sounds like when everything is installed.

Massive internal vibration on this unit

Pros: 1) Works 2) I like the lighting effects 3) Cost Cons: 1) Highly inflated advertised specs. This is a big deal to me and why I gave this amplifier a 2 star rating. This amplifier can only output 20.1V per channel RMS (measured using true RMS DMM.) If it could meet it's advertised 450W @ 2 ohm, it would be able to reach 30VRMS. The manufacturer and seller should correct their advertised values to regain consumer trust. 2) Customer service is there, but not very knowledgeable or helpful. You might be like me and read the manuals that come with your equipment. If you read the one that comes with this amplifier or the one available on the BOSS website, you will find lackluster and generic information. Explanation of function and switches completely missing. Maybe it's not there because they assume their customers will know what the switches and settings on the amplifier mean and don't need an explanation. If they assume that, they should also assume that that same customer will be able to measure the amplifier output and find that the specs listed are misleading. If you're considering this amplifier to be part of a high quality car audio setup, and considering this because it's advertised values will meet the needs of your system, I would recommend spending more money and going with a known and reputable brand. If you are in high school and just need a cheap amplifier to make your system louder and don't care about sound quality and tuning, this is perfect for you. If the only thing BOSS did was change their advertised output to match what this amplifier actually does, it would be a 5 star review. It makes me second guess the entire product line and company because it feels like they are knowingly lying about their specs to make a buck. If you look closely, you will see that the RMS output voltage is not listed anywhere. Only peak values are advertised. This is the workaround they use to make themselves sleep better at night and pretend they don't lie to their customers. In real world use, what this amplifier actually is and what it is advertised as are two completely different things.
