Once the can is activated how long can it be stored and used once more?

Yes - putting it in the freezer halts the catalyzation. Warm it up before spraying. I've had cans stay liquid for weeks this way.

Can i use this on a brushed aluminum car wheel after i prep it? and can i use it on a polished aluminum car wheel after i prep it?

Think of this as commercial auto paint in a can. It is a two part chemical set. Look up on youtube what auto clear coats can do. I would say yes. As long it is not epoxy as the sun breaks it down to powder. This is not epoxy. Good luck. I used it as a top coat on aluminum over metallic spray paint that was not a two part and therefore soft and easy to scratch. The clear coat made it much stronger and was happy not to have to pull out the big spray equipment to get it done. You might need two cans if you are planning to build it up a bit. One can just might make it. You will have a lot of masking unless the rims are naked.

Can I use this product as a top coat for cabinets (maple cabinet with light stain)?

Your cabinets are likely installed in a hight humidity environment (ie. Kitchen) Wood tends to shrink and expand, which requires a flexible top coat to prevent surface cracking. This is a very durable clear coat. It is resistant to gasoline and many other solvents. It is also very hard. I don’t think that it would do well on wood, but for automotive applications it is absolutely superb. I hope this helps.

Will this product work on cleaned steel?

No, clear coat or paint must have something to "bite" into, so it must be sanded and a direct to metal primer applied before the clear coat.

Before I say anything BE SURE TO WEAR A RESPIRATOR TYPE MASK WHILE SPRAYING THIS! If you inhale the fumes, the paint will harden in your lungs causing an infection and high fever. This happened to me because i wore a thin cheap covid-style mask. It didn't block ANYTHING!! I could not inhale enough oxygen all night, and thought I was going to die. LISTEN TO ME! FOLLOW THE LABEL WARNINGS!! Product worked great! Make sure you shake it for a couple minutes (really well!) before popping the cap. Then shake it again (really well!) for a couple minutes more while depressing the mix cap on the bottom to get all of the chemicals out. Sprays well. End result was satin finish. Crystal Clear.

So only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I did run into the same paint spatter when applying over my base coat. I was wearing gloves so I'm not sure if the tip of the glove was in the way of the spray tip causing the spray paint spatter white dots on my project. Was painting a rear plastic spoiler satin black so let's see if the second time around is better and hopefully just got a defective can and or glove got in the way of the spray tip causing drips. Other than that this spray is really good and satin finish color is perfect with a hint of gloss and hardens in one day. Super easy to use and shake the can VERY WELL before use. I'll be posting another review soon. So just as I thought the second time around sprayed perfectly with No drips No paint splatter and I was sure not to let the rubber glove get in the way of the spray paint pattern. Sprays like a paint gun and lays on super evenly. I did shake can for 3 minutes, popped the bottom and shook can for another 3 minutes. Would definitely recommend and buy again for another project. 10 stars!!

this stuff is a must if you want a long lasting finish that shines..can be sanded and buffed..the hardner which has to be activated with the knob on the bottom is great
