As the title says, big ol bad of coffee!I'm not a coffee drinker but my girlfriend is but I'm the one who makes it. It's a good quality whole bean that smells amazing and tastes amazing too. (according to my girlfriend)This is the second 5lb bag I've bought if that's an indication on its quality and taste. Highly recommend the flavor and the smaller bag if you don't live off 78 cups of coffee a day.

This coffee was amazing. I love the Colombian peaberry so I thought I would try a different region. Very smooth and had a lot of depth in flavor. Will be buying again.

I’ve been trying various Costa Rica Tarrazu beans and came across this one. My brewing method is espresso with a Breville Barista Express. These beans are advertised as medium roast but it’s more of a dark roast compared to other medium roasts. The beans noticeably much darker brown similar to dark roast beans.After a few brews I found the ideal grind size of 4 with 18grams. The first thing I noticed was the semi sweet taste with the initial sip but it had a burnt bitter aftertaste which my wife and I did not like. We tried with the drip method and was about the same with a less intense flavor.I’m not sure if this batch of beans was just not roasted properly but it was kind of a disappointment. If not for the burnt bitter aftertaste. This would be a pretty good coffee bean at a good price range.
