#4 Extra Coarse Traditional Bulgur Wheat, 8lbs

Buying in bulk I've saved about two dollars per pound than the Red Mill bag a lot of people buy in the store. I also LOVE the fact that it is #4 coarse. I had no idea bulgur came in different sizes. This size is about 20% bigger than the stuff I'd buy in the grocery store. I like that. It makes it better for when you are replacing rice for the healthier bulgur. I love this stuff and glad I found this on Amazon.Oh yeah. Tastes great. The bigger kernels seem to allow more appreciation for the nutty flavor. I make a big pot of it on Sunday night. Add some peas, tomatoes, finely chopped spinach, and some onions. I bring some for lunch each day and always have a great, filling, healthy side dish for supper. It's even a great little snack if you get hungry later. Hey beats chips or cookies. Good at breakfast too. A great hot cereal with a little butter and milk and yes a little sugar. Or throw some already cooked bulgur into some scrambled eggs for a high energy, high protein breakfast full of energy that will keep you full til lunch.I also should mention it is very clean. No foreign anything found in either bag that I got.
