To be clear this product is teflon impregnated woven fiberglass with an strong adhesive on one side. Once you have it in your hands, you'll find many places to use it. Every hobbyist needs it on hand for uses you haven't thought of. I keep several thicknesses around, as well as sheets with no adhesive.

I was looking for a tape to apply to a piece of metal plate that would be low friction and not leave scuff marks on paper that will pass under it. I have not yet tried that but it appears from the looks of things it will work.

I had been looking for this tape for awhile and glad I found it. We use have a coffee business and have a heat sealer for the bags. It went on smoothly and worked great.
