However the body screws on so you would have to buy 2 of these cars to swap the body. **Q: What are the size of the drift tires** A: If you shop 1:24 scale you should find some adequate. Be aware the cars do not have proportional steering. Meaning they are full turn or straight, and controlled driving especially drifting is difficult and less fun than better cars. That being said battery life is good 15 minutes, and durability is good my son and I have a pair and have run them very rough and aggressively and they still work. **Q: Will it look good if I paint the body with spray paint?** A: I own a real 05' STI and I got this to paint it and make it resemble my car. As long as you prep the plastic really well and use decent spray paint it will look good. Hope this helps! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice little RC drifting car at a great price *by A***R on December 27, 2024* Very fun little RC. Drifts really well, which is the feature my son was most interested in. This was a great Christmas present. And it came with a 2nd set of wheels meant for racing. I will say it is a little on the noisy side though. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent fun for the value! *by B***E on January 19, 2025* I received this as a Christmas gift from my daughter. It has been a blast to play with! All wheel drive and lots of drifting! I highly recommend this car as it is well built and affordable! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not bad for a $25 rc car *by S***N on January 28, 2022* First "drifting" rc car I've bought and honestly I'm quite impressed. This rc car can drift and is really fun to watch and control. For $25 I'm highly satisfied with my purchase. I loved that it came with regular rubber grippy tires for regular driving. This thing is fast with the regular tires. A good solid 15-20 minutes of playtime. A good purchase as a gift for kids that love cars and drifting. You'll need a lot of practice before you're the DK (Drift King) but it's quite fun to learn. If you want something more advanced, it'll be about 2-4x the price. If you have the money and time, might I suggest the WLToys K969 from Banggooddotcom ($55-65 plus shipping from Canada) ## Frequently Bought Together - Liberty Imports RC Drift Car 1/24 2.4GHz 4WD Remote Control Sport Racing On-Road Vehicle with LED Light, Batteries and Drift Tires (Style 7) - Remote Control Car RC Drift Car 2.4GHz 1:24 Scale 4WD 15KM/H High Speed Model Vehicle with LED Lights Drifting Tire Racing Sport Toy Car for Adults Boys Girls Kids Gift 2Pcs Rechargeable Batteries - Flybar Hoonigan, Hoonitruck, Remote Control Car for Kids – RC Car, RC Cars, Race Car, 3.7V, 2.4 GHz, Detailed Replica Design, USB Rechargeable Battery Included, 1:32 Scale, 100 ft Range, 4 Mph --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/255174917-liberty-imports-rc-drift-car-1-24-2-4ghz-4wd](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/255174917-liberty-imports-rc-drift-car-1-24-2-4ghz-4wd) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
