Metal Calf Weaner

Have tried several different kinds for our 2-year-old Jerseys. This is the first one that has worked long term.

Did not stay on. Had the vet put in the cows nose and come off when in a few days.

I thought it was going to work. I had no trouble getting it in. I checked the nut every day to make sure it was still tight and it always was. Until the nasty stormy night I didn't check it. Because the next morning it was not in her nose. Her nose was fine so it wasn't torn out. There is a lot of hay for bedding so we still have not found it.

I put it on today. The wing nut broke so it fell out. I found another wing nut and finally got it tight enough. Hoping it is still on in the morning.

Works great, only product I've found that works... plastic ones keep coming out

Has stayed in place and stopped the nursing.
