Cute! Nice prep bowls
FYI: pay attention to the dimensions listed, these are not mixing bowls. I got these as prep bowls but other reviewers were disppointed that these are not mixing bowl sized. The largest one holds 4 cups (volumes are listed on the bottom of the bowls, which is nice). These are great for my purpose, I wanted to be able to prep my ingredients and have them ready to go while I'm cooking. These are great and I could actually use the largest bowl to marinate chicken in the fridge. I would recommend.

Replacing a favorite set
This will be my second set of these prep bowls...over the past few years my first set has lost a lid or two and was misused for reheating soup by my hubby, causing some discoloration. I finally decided to look for a replacement set and was thrilled to see the same exact set is still available! They are great for mixing dry ingredients for baking. With the lids, you can even do it ahead of time. They should not be used for microwaving soup because they will discolor, but they are dishwasher safe. The kitchenaid logo did fade after some time though, and it is completely gone from one bowl in my original set.

So Awesome I bought it twice
Hi - they were smaller than expected, but excellent when making tacos, or chopping vegetables - you have small bowls to separate all of the ingredients. Also very good for lunch - use the larger for the salad, smaller for the chicken, and smaller for the croutons - This was the BEST purchase. LOVE THESE BOWLS!!
