What do I fill the grappling dummy with?

The dummy ships unfilled. Fill it with used garments, shredded fabric scraps, or old blankets. MatArts recommends cotton for the best results.

How heavy will it get once filled?

Final weight depends on how densely you pack the fill. Add material gradually and check the weight as you go to keep it manageable for your child.

Is the 47-inch size right for my child?

The 47-inch (4-foot) dummy is sized for kids and is well suited for children learning foundational grappling, throwing, and striking moves.

Which combat sports is this dummy compatible with?

The human-body shape supports MMA, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, boxing, karate, taekwondo, and judo — covering grappling, throwing, and striking practice.
