I love having a ginger bread holiday decorating competition! This version is a manger and I love it.

I bought 2, and gifted them tp a family who had a building competition. They were well received.

This is waste of money and time. 4 of 6 house pieces arrived BROKEN! Tried marshmallow cream heated a bit as glue. Seemed to hold. Assembling house with icing, looked OK for a few minutes and slowly slid apart and caved in. WORTHLESS! This order amounted to very expensive odd sized gingerbread cookies. Icing is useless for holding any shape or adhesion. If you want to waste a bunch of time and end up frustrated and regretting ordering this, go right ahead! I will NEVER try building gingerbread houses ever again. Keep your memories of childhood, don't try this later in life.

First off, this kit came with everything included as stated. It was packed very well, no pieces were broken. It was a little more expensive but being my first attempt I didn't mind. My problem was the icing. I followed all of the directions for assembly but when using the icing to "glue" the pieces together it didn't work. Some pieces glued together but after a few hours it collapsed in a gooey mess. I've wanted to make gingerbread house for several years. They have all gotten fairly expensive in recent years. I think I'll try one out of clay next time.

It's become a tradition for Gr. Grandkids...they look forward to receiving them and really enjoy putting them together.

Well worth the money. The house itself was nice a sturdy for younger hands. There was plenty of embellishments to decorate with. It came with a nice plastic tray for it to stand on which helped to keep things neat. Would definitely recommend for a cookie day project. The grandsons 7 and 5 really enjoyed themselves.

I've been getting a gingerbread house kit to build with my grandchildren for the past few years. We really don't care what it looks like in the end. The fun part is getting the decorations on the house and icing in their mouths. I was disappointed with this kit. Both sections of the roof had breaks in them and the large bag of white icing used to cement the house and stick the decorations on burst one of the seams so we wound up with icing coming out where you couldn't use it. I would not recommend this kit.
