Adams Extreme UV Protective Twill Neck Pocket Outdoor Cap

It's very comfortable on my large head, and I love how it really screens out the sun better than any other hat I've had. I don't know if the fabric will remain so comfortable over time, but right now it is prefect.

I like this style of hat and have several. This one is made well, good materials and really like the length and coverage of the cape. The one thing it lacks is a chin strap. A chin strap is great when the wind is blowing hard and the hat is apt to set sail, but its even more useful in low to moderately high wind when worn behind the head over the cape. This not only keeps the hat on up to significant wind speeds, say on a speed boat or mountain ridge, but it keeps the cape down and performing its sun protection duties. If Adam puts a chin strap on this hat. it'll get 5 stars from me and I suspect others. In the meantime, I guess I'll just have do it myself.

I was looking for a hat like this for awhile. This one met all my requirements: long bill,long neck cover and fly away strap. I am impressed with the quality and low price. After my wife tried mine, I had to buy her one too. She made her's look more feminine by tying a color band around the hat .The fly away strap is great when the wind catches the brim when your moving fast ( think convertible) and the hat just flops off your head and hangs behind you.It is surprisingly cooler with the neck cover than the traditional ball cap. And to impress your friends, you can always ask where to park your camel!

Using this in AZ summer heat and laser bright sunshine and it does the work of UV protection quite well. Bill is kind of long but it will protect more of your face.Has an external draw string and metal clip so you can make it custom fit to your needs. Has a secret zippered pocket inside the flap for $$ etc. 50 SPF and it reduces heat on the back of my neck. A must for birders and fishermen . Save your hide and get one of these caps from Adams.

I've used the tan one for years, and recently got the white ones for my daughters and daughters-in-law. They loved them. They're the best hats for keeping sun off face and neck. They're great for boating and doing anything outdoors.

Two areas:THE PRODUCT- wow, seems to be a great quality for the price, especially. Granted it's a little more material than just a single light layer but I don't expect that will be a problem with heat buildup.THE COMPANY - MicroFiber was great! The original order was lost via USPS and Dan with MF was willing to send out another which was rec'd within days, great service! :)

I liked it @ 1st but its a ltl deep (one sz fits all) maybe in mens world, keeps falling down over my eyes. I just washed in washer (air dryed) & the seam on outer edge of apron frayed about 2 inches worth. I expected it might not last too long after use in the pool, but I only swim 3 times a week & i've only worn it 5 days in the pool on warmest days. I @ least thought it would last 90/3 mo.s worth in the pool.

Great cap. Well made and fits well, covers my ears and neck as intended, and has a large front brim which helps when the sun is low. Light color keeps you cool and it's nice material, too. The only critique I could make is that the neck covering could be an inch or two shorter, and could be detachable, but that's just nitpicking. If you don't want the neck and ear covering, wear another cap.
