Beautiful Fabric With So Much Design Detail
I have a weakness for Tibetan Mandelas. I think they are absolutely beautiful in their small details and intricate design. We have a community of Tibetan monks near us that recently did a 3 day sand mandala that blew everyone away who watched it being created. When I saw this large tapestry I knew I could study it for hours and continue to find new small details in the design that would captivate me. The small flowers, the detail of the elephants, the small circles and the play of the black and white to create flowing shapes. It was the perfect size to cover my long dining room table, which allows me the luxury of seeing most of the design at all times. The fabric is light and thin, and the corners blow gracefully in the breeze when the windows are open. The edges are perfectly sewn, so it is a finished piece that you could use for other things if you didn't want to use it for a table cover. It could be folded into a light wrap for a cool evening, it would be great to throw into a picnic basket for ground cover or it could be used as a throw over the back seat of your car to help keep the seats from getting sandy after a day at the beach. This is a great tapestry "long" (sheet) in its complex pattern, size and fabric texture.Me and my wife love the orient art and especially India with their colors and spiritual painting with complex geometric patterns.We use this tapestry when we're camping as both shade/fabric wall and that way we get both shelter and a great view to our eyes :)It can also be used as a beach towel to lie on and read a book or get some tanning or even as a cover for beds and sofas, if it fits your house's general design.Pros:- Huge tapestry and very beautiful and complex Hindu pattern- Made out of great fabric and not the thin stuff you find out there.- Washable (i would use cold washing to keep colors intact)- Adds to a great calm sense of feeling when added to other similar tapestries- Pattern and color are niceCons:- None so far :)I would recommend getting this tapestry if you like Hindu art, colors and patterns.
