Amazing tool for piece of mind
This breakout box will immensely help if you are trying to diagnose an issue with your ECM/PCM or any module! All you have to do is wire the module directly to the breakout box. Yes you need to know what is power and grounds on the module but thatโs easy with Mitchell on demand DIY. Once wired, hook up you scan tool and it should read. If it doesnโt then the module is fried. If it does then you know the problem isnโt the ECM. It saves tons of money especially on older modules that the dealers say theyโre obsolete.

If there was ever a breakout box to recommend , this would be the one. When bench testing ECM, you can emulate power and ignition power with just a flick of the switch. This makes it very convenient.
