Favourite in our house
Carte Noire is back and it a new sleek jar. I just thought it was a rename of the L'or brand. However to me it tastes different. It's richer and with more colour. I like to taste my coffee so with sometimes have 2 teaspoons of granules. With the new jars I am finding I can reduce the amount I use. which in turn in saving me money as the jar is lasting longer. Much better value and taste than other long standing coffee brands.

Only when on Special
As an instant coffee this is the best. I only buy this when on special price. I bought 2 lots of 4 x 180g jars which was the maximum number. The first 4 were at £3.80 each, the 2nd 4 were at just under £5 each. direct from Carte Noir I then managed to buy 10 x 180g jars from Morrisons at £4 per jar last month. Just one week later these same jars increased to £7.50 from Carte Noir and £8.1 from Morrisons. Nothing can justify these increases. Fortunately I have a few jars in hand but won’t be buying again until these jars drop down in price.

Delicious and High Quality
I love this stuff. Absolutely incredible quality instant coffee and I'm very pleased. I'm a bit of a coffee snob and I needed some kind of caffeine fix quickly before work at 5am so I was looking for something no muss no fuss. This is my go-to now. So simple to flip my kettle on, get ready for work, pour my cup, and out the door. Highly recommend.
