At the lowest setting, it is taller than my previous tent, which is nice for taller people to be able to enter. The downside is that it takes up more room in my already packed vehicle. It is very sturdy and solid, but that also makes it a bit on the heavy side for solo vendors like myself. The adjustable tension for the peak is great and it is amazingly easy to put up and take down by myself. Customer service is great! My box came with some unusual taping on one end and opening it up, that end of the tent case had some damage. Reaching out to the seller, they immediately offered to send a replacement and it arrived very quickly. I am very happy with the experience.

I was skeptical about paying this much for a canopy, but I’ve owned several cheaper ones and decided to give this one a try. It is heavy, but it also feels much stronger and better built than the others. I’ve used it several times, including during one of the heaviest downpours I have ever seen. It held up well and did not leak at all. Their customer service has also been excellent. I made a mistake while setting it up and one of the frame arms came loose. I emailed the company, and they responded quickly and are sending me the replacement parts at no charge. So far, I am very happy with the canopy and would recommend it highly.

I had bought a commercial grade pop up from ABC Canopy. I had bought cheaper pop ups in the past for $90 to $125 . But these either got destroyed in the first heavy rain or didn't last but one season. I was tired of buying a pop up every year and sometimes twice a year. I use screw ties to anchor the poles and ropes so it was not the fault of my rigging, I finally tried ABC and I couldn't have been happier. It lasted 4-1/2 years and endured 4 or 5 storms. CUSTOMER SERVICE The last storm was my fault. The weathered anchor rope broke (MY ROPE) and gave the canopy enough slack to collect several hundred pounds of water. The canopy tore a little in one of the corners and 3 pieces of the frame were damaged. I contacted ABC Canopy and they sent me an itemized detail drawing of my model so I could select what parts were damaged. They send all the parts and I bought a replacement canopy as well. For well less than half the cost of a new ABC canopy, mine is now good as new. Customer service was very helpful and quick to respond. Thank you ABC Canopy!!

First, I'll start by saying this canopy is excellent. I don't believe there is a better canopy on the market for the price. If you need something very lightweight and not very heavy duty, then look elsewhere. If you want something that will actually last, built on a true steel frame, get this canopy. I've done festivals, trade-shows, and outdoor markets of all kinds for the better part a year under this canopy, with an average use rate of three days per week. I often feel bad for many other canopy users, because their canopies limit them so severely. Your canopy is the bedrock of your setup, it supports your banners, your windwalls, your lights, and anything else you might need, and it does it all while resisting the elements. If you build your foundation on lightweight aluminum, then you haven't accounted for all the other factors in addition to Murphy's Law. I would advise everyone to get this canopy unless they are under a festival ordnance that requires another tent for uniformity purposes (very rare, but I've seen this happen, IMO this SHOULD be the tent required in those circumstances). This frame will withstand high winds with large banners and signed attached to it, each leg supports two proper stakes, and the wide base feet are ideal for use with weight bags. I have absolutely no trouble at all setting this up alone, and taking it down alone. I've done it probably close to 150 times. The trick is to place one corner where you want it, grab the opposite corner, lift, and stretch it into place. Once it is mostly expanded, press upward on the slider until it clicks into place, then click into place all the other corners. After that you simple lift each leg one at a time. I truly do not understand the people saying this is a difficult setup "even for two people." It's exceptionally easy for one person. Perhaps using more than one person unnecessarily complicates setup? In any case, when you take it down you do the same thing in reverse. First lower all four legs. Then unfasten the corner buttons. Grab one leg on any side, lift, and walk it toward the opposite leg. The entire tent will simply fold up. After that, bag the tent by swinging the bag behind your back, and applying it by sliding it over the top of your head onto the tent. This effectively guides the bag over the tent so that it can slide down onto the bag unhindered. The whole operation of take down or set up takes me easily less than three minutes moving at a normal pace. In addition, they do honor their manufacturer's warranty. I work mostly in Florida near the gulf, and we get very high wind gusts from time to time that can't be predicted. After six months of the harshest environment and repeated set ups and tear downs, the frame finally buckled slightly and could not fold up fully. This was a problem because it would not fit into the bag nor into our storage area for travel. They honored the one year warranty, refunded the cost, and sent a replacement. I almost felt bad because I can tell that every effort has been made for this design to be durable and affordable, and I don't like to take advantage of warranties in those circumstances if I can avoid it. However they gave absolutely no fuss. Now, with that said, understand that there are two, seemingly identical carrying bags for this canopy. My original canopy came with an incredibly heavy duty bag that looked exactly like that displayed in the images in the listings. When I received my second canopy, the bag was a complete joke. It looked identical to the original in every way, but was probably 1/5 the thickness and very poorly manufactured. It fell apart within two weeks. I'm not exaggerating. The first bag lasted six months and was still in near perfect condition, the second lasted only two weeks. The moment I received the new bag I immediately knew it was inferior quality, but I didn't realize just how bad it was until I had a chance to put it to use. So if you see reviews of some people enamored with the bag quality, and others complaining about how poor the exact same bag is, understand that it's because there are two versions of the bag. Which one you receive appears to be 100% luck of the draw. I've been looking for a way to purchase the quality version but the Amazon listing for the bag only appears to suffer the same problem - the seller called "#1 Instant Shelter" randomly distributes one version or the other, and most customers have no idea this is taking place. Shame on them for not being more transparent in this regard.

I’m very happy with this 8x12 canopy. It provides plenty of space and good coverage for outdoor gatherings, parties, or relaxing in the backyard. It was easy to set up, and the size is perfect for having tables and chairs underneath. The design looks nice and feels sturdy when properly secured. Overall, it’s a great addition to my outdoor space and a good value for the price!

After a ton of research, I ordered this canopy specifically to pair with my KampKeeper cube tent, so complete waterproofing was essential for my setup. The product listing claimed 100% waterproof, and since it rained light-to-moderate the day after it arrived, I put it right to the test. Unfortunately, the original cover failed and leaked extensively along all four corner seams. I reached out directly to customer support, and they immediately dispatched an upgraded replacement top. I tested the new top using a hose; it had only one minor leak along a seam that wasn't enough to drip. Without me even asking, customer service unexpectedly sent a third cover as well, which performed about the same (one minor leak). While I'd call it closer to 99% waterproof than 100%, I am very satisfied with both the tent (with the upgraded canopy) and the outstanding support team standing behind it.

I purchased this canopy after going through several of the big box $39 ones. This canopy has good reviews, so I took a chance of spending more for a better and longer lasting product. Shipping was slower than other Amazon orders. It took a week for it to ship, but then arrived in good condition. The canopy is heavier duty than the cheap ones. It assembled pretty easily although the fabric top was very very tight. I suspect it will stretch and loosen over time. It seems to have good anti-radiation characteristics. Some canopy's suffer from re-radiation of the suns heat right through the fabric, this one seems to block that pretty well. Now for the bad! I left the canopy up and as luck would have it a front passed through blowing over the canopy. Two of the lateral rods that make up one of the scissor sections broke right at the center bolt hole. This seems to be a weak point for all of these canopies. I was hoping this one would be sturdier but apparently not. I would think manufacturers could recognize drilling a quarter inch hole through a half inch tube really weakens it. With that said, it was my fault for not properly anchoring the canopy. No problem! I'll order replacements. I got on the abccanopy web site and attempted to look up the part number for replacement rails. There is no model number for this canopy or anything that comes close to naming this canopy. No problem, there is a form on the web site to send emails to the company. I filled it out, clicked send, and a week later I hadn't heard anything from them. OK, maybe it got lost. I filled out the page again, clicked send, and two weeks have passed and I still haven't heard anything from them. There is no phone number on the web site. So right now I have a damaged canopy that I cannot get repair parts for. I looked at similar models that are listed on the web site and it looks like those similar parts are selling for $39 each! Are you kidding me? $78 for two rails! That's a third of the price of the entire canopy! So while the quality of this canopy is better than the typical $39 ones sold at big box stores, I am going to have to give this vendor a big thumbs down. I cannot support or recommend a vendor that has poor customer support and charges what I consider to be unreasonable prices for repair parts. I do not recommend this canopy for these reasons. There are better buys with better customer service available.

Excellent frame heavy duty, 5 star I have 2 tents 10x10 and 10x15 use for guests and in yard, I had shipping box issue and customer service sent me parts asap and even provided tracking number pick what color you like I recommend you see the colors they offer

Love it! Covers my whole deck, saving us from this heat wave, going to cover the bars inside with solar fairy lights! Edit** only lasted 3 months and the top of the canvas ripped throigh

We bought this based on the reviews and are very happy with the quality! We attend several outdoor events and it holds up very well in rain and wind.

Don't know why l put off purchasing one of these for so long. Excellent quality and my other half managed to erect it solo without my supervision!

This is the 2nd time using this tent and it’s already leaking. It’s sturdy but it’s not durable at all clearly. And it’s not one or two droplets as you can see. Super disappointed considering how much it is.
