Do not buy this item caught on fire and starting smoking from the inside out. Although it has great reviews it’s highly flammable even after following the instructions. The heat of flaxseeds caused the fabric to catch flame. I was extremely dissatisfied.

This thing does not work properly. It is trash! This cap doesn’t stay warm for very long. After putting it into the microwave on my third use, it ended up going up in smoke. It almost caught on fire! It is heavy. Doesn’t heat evenly. Doesn’t heat properly and it is a fire hazard. Beware!

I’ve used this heating cap a half dozen times and it gets the job done. Much more comfy fit then my previous conditioning cap. The one less star is that heat only last CONSISTENTLY for about 20-30 min, then I notice cold spots coming back. I’ve tried to remedy that by spreading out the flax seed more evenly before heating in the microwave. Overall I’m satisfied since I don’t really deep condition my hair beyond 30 min, but if you are one who likes to go beyond a 30 min hair conditioning treatment be sure to reheat the cap because the cap Heat will not last that long.

I like how warm it keeps the head for a while for my hair masks to penetrate. The only "con" is that it feels super heavy. I tried to color my toe nails and my neck was HURTING from trying to keep my head up cus it was so heavy lol. But product looks quality and sturdy.
