Waste of money
Completely not as described, it specifically says that square cages are dangerous and it is a square cage, there's no gate and my rabbit who is dwarf and one month old (tiny) can jump over it. Don't bother.

it works with one downfall...
November 2022:Needed to be able to fence in an area for my guinea pigs to be able to exercise outside of their cage and be able to touch us directly by one of us sitting in there with them and them running around us to get them to be not so nervous around us. They are still young and from what I understand they weren't handled very much at all before we got them so they need time to settle in and trust us. They are definitely going in the right direction and actually will come out of their hidey holes now when we feed them and they aren't as difficult to catch when it's time to clean their cage, but they still have quite a distance to go until they are really relaxed around us. So I thought a playpen type thing would be best for this purpose. And actually it does serve its purpose. It IS easy to set up however they aren't super sturdy once they are set up because they are only connected on the bottom and not on top. I could of course use zip ties on the top which would help tremendously on that count, but then I have to cut them off if they aren't the reuseable type, which seems like such a waste and so much plastic garbage to throw out.Suggestions for the manufacturer would be to either have the pieces connected already and the user would be able to just unfold it for use and fold it back up again when they are done using it, or, an even better idea in my opinion, is to have something similar to the reuseable zip ties that snap onto the tops of the fence pieces so that all the pieces are still easy to arrange in the size and shape you want them in but are held securely at the top. Regular zip ties that have to be thrown out after each use is just not very logical or practical and produces a lot of plastic garbage. That said, I will talk about what I do like about these now. They are very easy to arrange in the size and shape that you want them in and I believe you can even use pieces as a top so if you have ferrets or something that could escape from above that feature is very helpful. Another aspect I really like is that you can order more sets so you can have as many pieces as you want. I have another set on order that I'm waiting for so I'll have 24 pieces instead of 12... and I'll most likely order another set or two before I'm done. And I actually like that it doesn't come with a bottom. You can just use a piece of fleece or flannel or something and throw it in the wash after playtime. If they provided a bottom, you'd be restricted to how big they made it and I like being able to make it bigger or smaller depending on my needs that day.The guinea pigs are not intimidated by these fences either, something else I really like about them. They seem to be a good color or something agreeable that they do not find scary to run around in. With 12 pieces made into a square, one average size adult can easily fit inside with 2 or 3 piggies easily. But this is why I am ordering more sets so that my kids can sit inside with me all at the same time with the piggies for playtime. So this review contains my first impressions as well as how I feel about it after using it and seeing how my guinea pigs reacted to it. I am overall very happy with it, except for that one very big downfall, that it should be easier to secure on top than the way it's currently designed. However, I will definitely continue to use them and maybe use bread ties instead of zip ties to secure the tops of the fences together so they can be reused many times instead of cutting off zip ties. I will also try using the reuseable zip ties to see how they work. I'm looking forward to the second set arriving so I can have a much bigger area for the piggies to play in and at this point I'm about 85% sure I'll order at least one more set... probably two.To anyone thinking that animals, esp rodents, would chew through something like bread ties, this is NOT a permanent cage, this is a playpen. You cannot leave animals in one of these things unattended. This is meant to be set up for playtime and taken down again, not for permanent residence of your pets.

Chew Barrier
I would never use this as a method of containment for a puppy or dog - just not sturdy enough. However it is AWESOME for a TEMPORARY chew barrier for a puppy. I've found them so helpful I ordered another set to build "up". I use a panel on each end to keep the pup out from behind couch/furniture. Along WITH training, these are a great tool to protect my furniture and important wires from a naturally curious pup. Wire ties work well, the plastic connecters are there just to hold the panels in place while you fasten them securely with wire ties, or whatever else you need to use to hold them in place. Double sided tape will keep them affixed to the floor.

Good
This product is good but I got it for my Guinea pigs cage and unlike the regular grids for c&c cages this one is not exactly 12x12 and it makes it a little harder to measure out how you want the cage and to customize the shape and structure due to some of the pieces not matching up with each other. Other than that it holds up well and no other problems with it.

Very spacious
These is a very spacious cage. However it keeps coming unsnapped when I have to move it. It would definitely help if there was a door or opening, so you don’t have to lean over the cage. But it does come with zip ties, if needed to hold together. Overall it has been a good purchase.
