Revell of Germany 03986 Spitfire MK.lla Model Kit

Exceptional new model of the typical "Battle of Britain" Spitfire. A major step up from the original 1/32 kit of the 1960s including advances in tooling. Only down side that I can see is the lack of a detailed pilot figure which could have been easily included in the design of the mold. Also the price I paid (less than $50) is very competitive for a modern kit of an airplane of this scale and size.

Revell is my go to brand for consistency of parts, all well formed on the sprus and decent instructions to follow. I don't think this kit would suite a beginner, but once you have a grip on the basics, it's a great model to progress on to. All parts went together with minimal filling and sanding needed. Model available in numerous outlets, yet this was excellent value on Amazon. Be prepared to spend the same again on paints though.

Un kit onesto per il suo prezzo. Non lo pagherei di più. Basico, privo di componenti motore e figurino pilota, ma consente di costruire un bel pezzo. Abbastanza dettagliato il cockpit, ma si sente la mancanza di un kit foto inciso per le cinture di sicurezza.
