I’ve never used it in construction or plumbing settings, but it works great in aquariums/terrariums! I made the base of a terrarium background with it (WIP) and it held on well!! You can cut it off with a blade very easily, as well as just pull and scrape with your fingers. Very good at being waterproof though!! Cons If you don’t use the whole can in one sitting, it’s really hard to get the rest out (in my experience). I had to get a whole new nozzle just to use a can that was half empty, and even then it struggled. The insides were all dry foamed up! But if you use it all, great product. It has been 3 years and it is still working. The pond freezes every up state NY winter. **Q: Is this essentially the same product as the yellow expanding foam, just a different color?** A: Chuksim, i don't know the yellow expanding foam is, but if you are looking for pond seal, then this product will good to bond plastic and rock, rubber together. **Q: can this waterfall foam freeze if it left out in the cold to long** A: This product has held up well in our waterfall and pond rocks during Ohio winters. **Q: Can this product stand up to hot sunlight?
