Not your typical Ramen noodles, but still tasty
What I love about this brand of noodles is the flavor. Its just basic chicken-based sauce and I can add any number of other ingredients and it still tastes great. I have to say that I'm not as fond of the type of noodles used in this brand. They are not the same as the regular Ramen noodles and are more like rice noodles. The noodles are flat, slightly translucent, and a bit chewy in comparison to regular noodles. I still love this brand though. I'm not that finicky about the difference in noodles. This brand came highly recommended as one of the healthier versions of processed noodles and I'm not at all disappointed. It sits comfortably in my stomach after most of my stomach had been removed due to cancer. I highly recommend this.

Great Starch solution choice with Crohn's!
I got this Pad Thai after following the McDougall Starch Solution to help my Crohn's disease and happened to find his stuff on Amazon. I was so excited when I did! It's really hard to find anything pre-made that is starch solution friendly. This tastes amazing too! I was worried everything would taste bad and I ordered both this and the maple oatmeal and they are both delicious!! It has a bit of spice to it (which I love) so if you are sensitive to anything with spice I wouldn't recommend. I really loved it though. I really like all the ingredients and it was really easy to make. I did the microwave version where you let it sit and soften with the lid on and it comes out wonderful.I absolutely recommend for anyone on the starch solution, or even anyone trying to put better foods in their body. I am very very happy with my purchase and I will definitely be buying over and over again! Perfect to grab for lunch out without having to prepare in a hurry!

Very good
This is a nice quick and easy soup. There is a lot of good thai flavor (i.e. you get a yummy cilantro taste). Some people might not like the 580mg sodium in the whole cup, but I don't expect miracles with convenience food. It is quite filling and the noodles, even though they are rice noodles, do not get clumpy or sticky like this type tends to do. Very easy to pop in my purse and take to work. I make it just like the package directions say, add a touch more water after it is done soaking a few minutes and it comes out perfect. I took a star away because I feel that there is only one decent lunch sized serving instead of two that the package claims. I don't like when manufacturers do that. The way this soup is packaged, it seems obvious to me that you will make it and eat it in one sitting.

It is not Pad Thai, but something really good
I never trusted any cup soup to be actually yummy until I found Dr. McDougall's, but I needed something easy to eat at work. I first tried split pea soup and was pretty surprised that it was just like homemade. I went to the store and bought some more and picked up a couple of Pad Thai also out of curiosity. This one has become my new favorite. The flavor is slightly weak to my liking, so I usually add a bit of soy sauce and pinch of black pepper to it. To create even richer flavor I recommend a few drop of sesame oil also. The noodles are cut pieces so you can eat it with spoon when fork is not available. The clear broth has authentic Asian flavor and lightly seasoned. I do not feel guilty eating late at night since it's got only 200 or so calorie for the entire cup. To be clear, I have no idea why it is named Pad Thai soup because the only thing in common is the rice noodles. Other than that this soup is nothing like what the name ( Pad Thai) suggests. But hey, I don't care I really love it.

Meager and Disgusting
I ate one cup. I was shocked at how small the portion was! And I was repulsed by the flavor which didn't taste anything at all like pad thai. I'm not a masochist, so I will likely throw the remaining five cups away.

There are better McDougall varieties
I have to agree with the other naysayers on this one. It has an odd flavor to it and I suspect it's because of the fruit powders - I think the tamarind powder gives it the weird flavor/aftertaste. I think I would like this a lot more if that were absent. I don't know much about Thai cooking but others are saying it doesn't taste like Pad Thai anyway, so removal of what may be a Thai ingredient (tamarind) isn't going to make sales go down. There's still the standard good stuff that stands for most McDougall varieties. You get a lot of it, it's convenient and great to have around at the office for a more healthy-than-the-vending machine snack. I suspect it would be more satisfying too, nice and hot soup mmm! So, I won't be buying it again. May I recommend the Spring Onion Noodle Soup? That is a very tasty one to buy in lieu of this variety.

Delicious and Surprisingly Filling
I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect when I placed my initial order for Dr. McDougall's Pad Thai Noodles - Gluten Free and Vegan Ramen Noodles - Instant Ramen Noodle Cups. I was definitely, pleasantly surprised. The broth was yummy (I figured I’d like it! I do add some cayenne for a kick), but the noodles were a lovely surprise. They have a very nice, hearty texture and I feel full/ satisfied when I finish the cup. They are also quite convenient to take to work or anywhere I’m heading that has a microwave. I highly recommend this guilt-free ramen!

My favorite quick soup!
This is my favorite quick and easy to fix soup. Does it taste like pad Thai? No, not in my opinion, but it’s still delicious. I’m not vegan or even vegetarian so sometimes I add cooked shrimp to the soup and that makes for a hearty meal. I keep a couple of these at work for quick snacks.
