GREAT SEALANT!
This is DEFINITELY worth the price. Used this on my 2011 Challenger, and look at the results after polishing! It's actually been about 3 months after I bought Wolfgang's sealant, and it's still going strong. Water still beads up, and just the slightest wind will blow any water right off. Pros: - Incredibly easy to apply. Easy on, easy off! - This stuff lasts. I'm only 3 months in, but I'm certain it'll still last for another 3 months MINIMUM. - SHINY :) - Great protection. Keeps rain from causing water spots, and makes bird poop cleaning a breeze. Cons: - The price. To some, $40 is a lot of money and I don't blame them. Tips: - Don't forget to wipe any of this product off the trim. It doesn't stain when you apply it, but it will definitely show if left for too long. - This stuff actually works on windshields, from my experience. - A 16 oz bottle can last you a while! I wasn't sure how much to apply when I began, but learned that a few small drops on a microfiber applicator is enough for a large section on my car. The instructions don't give you specifics on how long to let set and cure. I learned that you only need to let it set for about 30 - 45 minutes before you wipe it off, and let it cure for at least 24 hours WITHOUT allowing moisture to affect the process. Hope this helps!

Great quality sealant
SO. EASY. This went on like BUTTER. Very creamy in consistency. Only need a small amount per pad. Goes on super easy and buffs off just as easy. And if you forget and it hazes for a while, still just as easy to buff off. I don't think I have used a sealant quite this nice before of the several I have used. And the gloss it adds is quite nice too. If you're looking to "fill" imperfections, this isn't quite for that. Used this on my 2003 RS 6 and was very pleased with the results that this and a black foam finishing pad were able to do come up with. I can see myself using this on some of my other cars too.

Best exterior car treatment in existience
Update one year later 12/4/19: Like I said before Iโm looking for a long lasting finish from this sealant. I drive a a couple hours a day usually and tend to park my car outdoors at night, and this product will legitimately last 2 months in these conditions. Iโd guess three months is realistic if a car is garaged and used less. Just a great sealant, thereโs nothing else I know of that looks this good and lasts even half as long. Original review. I bought this product based on the excellent reviews here after spending a full eight to ten hours washing and waxing my new black SUV with a carnuba wax only to have it wear off after less than two weeks. The car looks amazing after applying this product but it looked equally amazing with the carnuba wax, I just donโt have the time to do a wax job every weekend. Four times a year is realistic though so Iโm hoping for three months out of the Wolfgang sealant. As many have stated this sealant makes for much quicker work than the carnuba wax. The all day job with carnuba wax was just four hours today (wash and wax). Why? Everyone makes a big deal about how this product goes on quicker but the real time saver for me was that it doesnโt require buffing. After application you just wipe it off after its set for 30-45 minutes. Prior to wiping make sure that when you run your fingers along the car the product turns clear and not hazy, thatโs how you know itโs ready to wipe down (thatโs per the manufacturer from their website). Buffing a black car with carnuba wax meant carrying a buffing towel around with me for the next two days to get the many spots where the wax was thicker that you could only see in certain lighting. With this product you donโt have to go over a section again once youโve wiped it and it all looks even. Given that you only want to apply the sealant to an extremely clean car this was still a time consuming and labor intensive job so like I said Iโm hoping the Wolfgang sealant lasts 3 months but we shall see. Iโll update this then to see how it lasted. But so far I have every reason to believe the hype. For reference, I used approximately half the bottle but I probably put it on a bit too thick at first while I was getting a feel for it. Either way, this was on a midsize SUV so smaller vehicles would need less. The cost wonโt bother me at all if I get the three months out of it. Also donโt forget to let the car sit for at least 12 hours post-application somewhere where dew will not accumulate. My covered car port does the trick when nighttime temps donโt drop too much but from fall to early Spring Iโd probably put a car cover on after application to keep dew from forming. Wolfgang WG-5500 wonโt cure if it gets wet, per the manufacturer. Since itโs the longevity of the product Iโm mainly interested in; getting it to cure right is going to be key.

WOW...unbelievable!
I'm not very consistent on writing product reviews but felt compelled to leave a review for this paint sealant. I am very meticulous when it comes to auto care and appearance. I restore vintage motorcycles as a hobby and my dad restores historic cars so I am almost OCD when it comes to noticing small details. I purchased my first bottle of this sealant because of the reviews with a little bit of skepticism because I am so picky. I have many vehicles but my main driver is a dark silver BMW M5 and I noticed with many of the paint products that I had been using for years looked good but I could see very fine swirls in the paint on this color. I have NEVER seen this dramatic of a result in a wax or sealant...and I've tried just about all of the "next best" products. Simply put the results are astounding on ..and headlight lenses etc. The price seems a little on the high side until you use it and realize that it only takes a very thin layer to get dramatic results! It takes less effort and product than almost all of the products I have used. When using a foam pad to apply...apply it thin then use a microfiber towel to buff. The first time I used it ..I thought it took alot of effort to get all of the product off (looked smeary)...then I learned something. (tip) Temperature and humidity seem to affect the drying time after the application. Now as a rule...I apply the product to the entire car...then wait at least an hour if not overnight...then it literally takes only about 10 minutes or less to hand buff with zero dust. I purchased this for my dad after seeing the results and he has turned all of his car buddies into advocates and fans. One more thing I would like to add....they are not exaggerating when they say it lasts for months...it truly does. I have my cars washed about once a week and while after about a month the shine does start to fade a bit ...it still looks better than most freshly waxed cars and it beads water like it was waxed yesterday. The second application of the sealant is even quicker. Out of curiosity I tried it on my windshield which I normally wouldn't do...and it repels water very well when raining..I rarely need to actually turn the wipers on when moving. I can't say enough about it.... It's great stuff..give it a try!

Easy on and Easy Off product, wear gloves for safety!
I just applied this sealant to our new Toyota Highlander XLE. First I recommend wearing gloves to avoid getting the chemicals on your skin. I used an applicator made of foam. Apply a very small amount to your foam applicator since a little goes a long way. It goes on easy but after waiting twenty minutes I never saw it haze up. Again new car and the finish was excellent before applying. It may not have adhered to the finish? Anyway easy to take off with microfiber towel. The end result was a silky feel vs sections that had none applied. My Pearl White paint looks amazing now and I donโt want to drive it and get it dirty now. Remember to use the product in the shade when the body is still cool. Allow 12 hours for the sealant to set after polishing. Donโt apply a wax over this sealant if you plan to use the sealant again in 3-6 months. No need to wax as this product is better without it. Wax or sealant but not both. The sealant should last for six months before you should consider another coat. Stay away from those commercial car washes and only wash with car soap and not dish washing liquid or detergent and wash in the shade when finish is cool. Use two buckets and microfiber mit and microfiber towel to dry. Also be sure you wear gloves when applying this product. I didnโt and even after thoughly washing my hands, I was removing my contact lens and touched my eyes. Big mistake, the sealer got into my eyes and on my contact lens. Within a couple of days my vision blurred and required a visit to my a Optometrist. The sealer gets in your skin and wonโt wash off so anything you touch including your eyes, skin, will become dry and itchy. The sealer label provides a product warning and tells you to wear gloves. I would also wear protective goggles especially if you are using a buffer. Excellent product but hazardous! This not like applying that Carnuba Wax that doesnโt harm your skin or eyes. Read the label people!

WOW, just WOW - Worh it
I have used this on two of my cars now and it is spectacular. The water beads up WAY more than with other sealers I've used. I polished my cars with rotary polisher and then hand applied this sealer and WOW! You don't need a ton of elbow grease to apply. I just used a lint-free cloth and applied a generous portion to the cloth and gently wiped in onto my car's finish. It dried in minutes and when I wiped it off--it was glossy beautiful. Dirt seems to not stick and it feels smooth and slick to the touch even weeks after. I've used expensive sealers and this one beats them. I'm new to it so I cannot speak to longevity of finish yet. But I'm buying another bottle of this stuff!! UPDATE: Still one of the easiest sealers to get a good shine with. But it really doesn't last very long. I'm on So. Cal. Everything gets sun beating down. It seems to need reapplying more frequently that I would like but it does give a super gossy shine when applied.

Amazing Stuff
This stuff beads water like crazy. I put two coats on my wifeโs Honda Accord with 48 hots between coats. It filled in a lot of swirl marks that were only noticeable if you really looked hard. But they filled in all the same. It puts a mirror shine on a car that is phenomenal. Iโve run the car through a tunnel car wash twice and the water still beads up and the shine is still there after I dried the car with a microfiber towel. They promise it lasts for months. Iโm not waxing her car again until I can tell the wax has broken down a bit. We will see how long that takes.

Beautiful Shine. Long Lasting. Slippery Smooth.
Wow, what a shine!! I just bought a brand new Subaru Crosstrek and wanted to give it a good protective coat of wax. I did a ton of research on the best waxes, paint sealants, caranuba vs synthetic polymers, etc. (I won't get into the differences here. I assume you have done your research, which is why you're looking at this product.) What I can say is, after hours spent researching, I decided to buy Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant and I have zero regrets! A month after application, rain still beads nicely and rolls right off the car. I no longer have those annoying water spots. And the shine is still great. The feel is still very slippery after one month. Even when I had visited car dealer show rooms, their cars were nowhere near the shine and slippery smoothness of this sealant. I just love this stuff! I even applied it to my fiancee's black Mercedes, and her car reflects like glass. The Wolfgang goes on like a normal wax, and rubs off fairly easily. Despite what many reviews have said, definitely try not to get it on your black plastic trim. It will leave white residue. Though, to remove it all you need is a standard pink rubber eraser like your kids use for school. Rubs right off. This is the best wax/sealant I have ever used, hands down! ** The recommendations are to let it dry for 45 minutes into a white haze before wiping away. Then, you MUST keep the car in a garage or dry space for 12 hours to cure. **
