Do we not need vaccum chamber with this resin?** A: Hi Steven, we don't use a vacuum chamber with this resin. **Q: what is the harndess rating for this resin?** A: The hardness is a shore D 90. **Q: Will it harden over sea shells on glass** A: I am not sure. I haven't tried it on glass. I am presuming you are encasing the shell on a piece of glass. I have molds that I but my resin in with whatever I want to but in (ie shells, flowers rocks) **Q: Is this product flammable? Can it be used as a candle votive?** A: Like any product out there is a flammability issue. This does not say that it is, whether it is in liquid form or hardened. Now if the flame touches the hardened product for an extended period it would melt and possibly catch fire. I have not made a votive candle holder. I have made lamp stands with a light bulb inside. The temperature does not get as hot as a flame touching it.
