Great for developing problem-solving and self-calming skills. I was able to remind my 3-year-old to stop and take a break and some big breaths whenever she started feeling overly frustrated by the puzzles and she does that on her own now.I started her a few months ago on 4 piece, then 9 piece, and now these 16 piece puzzles. She's gotten good at them and prefers solving them by herself now. The pieces on these puzzles often fit into each other, even when they're in the wrong places and with these 16pcs ones she sometimes gets the four middle pieces mixed up without noticing it.These puzzles occupy her on subway rides and during quiet times at home.They're made of thin wood (not cardboard). I haven't seen any splinters or fraying, and the colours are nice and bright.They fit in my 3-year-old's hands nicely.

These are smaller than I'd expected, but that has turned out to be a strength since we take them with us on trips often. The puzzle has the image on the pieces and the base, which is helpful for my 3 year old. One small downside is that the pieces are very standardized, so you could put a piece from one puzzle into another and it would fit perfectly, but so far this isn't caused an issue because my daughter only does one at a time. They have held up well to many ideas so far, and we are quite pleased with them.

Cute puzzles for little ones to hold their attention for a few minutes. Our little guy loved the colorful creatures. Each puzzle is individually shrink wrapped and packaged in another plastic bag. I wish there was an actual carrying case, but overall, good purchase for the money.

Super cute puzzles! Sturdy... pretty durable, but a couple of pieces did start to bend when my 4-yr old would accidentally put two wrong pieces together and then separate them. I know that’s with any puzzle, but since they’re for littles, I was just hoping they’d hold a tad better. Otherwise, great puzzles, great gift, really cute!

I must have missed the dimensions in the description because when I got them they were smaller than expected (my bad) but the pieces were made out of wood! Which is awesome because my son cant ruin them on his sister. She loved them so much she did each one twice in one sitting 😊 easy to sit on the couch to do and the picture is under the pieces which makes it easier to do as a young child
