Very sticky, but still doesn't hold the hair strongly. There are other better products which are less sticky and have much stronger hold.

Part 1: Review [Usage instructions for best hold & style in Part 2] > The Good — Quantity of wax required for achieving a strong hold is less. — Smells extremely good! — The matte texture that it gives to your hair is great and classy. It does not make it look oily or dirty. — The storage box is very stylish, and serves the purpose well, too. > The Bad — I would’ve preferred a smaller quantity container for a lesser price, as I use wax only on special occassions. This wax is going to last 2~3 years for me. — The wax is good for small to medium length hair only. It will NOT work well for long hair. — Though the wax provides a very good hold, it does so only for about 2 hours. After that, it loses the strength and you will have to restyle it. Part 2: How to use, to achieve best hold? >> Make sure you wash your hair neatly, preferably shampoo & condition, before using the wax (any wax/gel/etc.) >> Towel dry your hair until it’s damp. >> Apply heat resistant spray, or any other prestyler which has heat resistant in it. >> Blow dry thoroughly, in the desired style. This is the MOST important step, guys. This is KEY! If you skip this, or do it wrongly, your final result will suck. >> Now take a VERY SMALL amount in your palm, and rub the wax until your palm is hot and you can feel the wax being a little flexible. >> Apply EVENLY to ALL areas. Try to reach the roots well, too, as this will give you the best hold. Once you’re done, now take additional amount of wax wherever required. Also, you can use extra wax on fringes where you want it to be highlighted. >> Wait for 10~15 minutes and you should be done. >> If the strong hold is fading, consider using VERY little amount of wax for restyling. >> Avoid styling aggressively, as this would need a lot of strong hold and the product won’t be able to sustain for a long time. So, go easy on your style. >> You MUST wash it off by the end of the day. Do NOT go to sleep with it, it will cause hairfall and hair-frizz. --- Product recommended.

This is a amazing product as it has a real matte finish. The other products by Gatsby do not have a matte finish. I have used all Gatsby products ranging from the hair spray to the hair wax. This product is really worth its price and gives a totally matte and High hold finish. Ingredients are safe for use thus i recommend this product to use guys. Its scent is not so good but finish and hold are !! The gripping power of the wax is pretty good as it keeps all of mine hair intact. My hair is thin and is present in large quantities so i need a product which has High holding power and this serves me well . The container is having a superior built thus the wax remains safe. All in all i will say that this is great product which you guys can buy !!

Bought it for ₹350. Product is good. But the mfg date was almost 2 years old. So I've to finish this product in next 1yr as it expires in 2 yrs. So for discounted price, you get to use product for half time span only. Delivery and package was good. But chowk the Mfg date for sure
