Parker Safety Razor 99R- Long Handle Heavyweight Butterfly Open & 5 Platinum Double Edge Blades

Perfect razor for beginners in safety razor shaving. It is not aggressive as perceived to be. Good sturdy product and a very good price point

Nice weight to it and not too small like some of them.

The weight and finish of the razor somewhat offset the chore of shaving. Packaging leaves something to be desired, otherwise great quality and very good value for money.

個体差かもしれませんが、思いの外ブレードと本体の隙間が広く、当たりはまさにアグレッシブですね！慣れるまでは、顎とか口周りの敏感な部分にはちょっと当てるのが怖いんでマイルドなメルクールや5枚刃ホルダーと併用します。でも物自体は流石にしっかりかっちりしていますよ。※追記1年使用しないうちに開け締めがスムーズにいかなくなり壊れてしまいました。バタフライ方式は構造が複雑な分こういうことも起こりやすいんでしょうね。あと使っていて思ったことはヘッドが分厚くなる分鼻の下とか細かく剃りたいところは少しやりにくいところがありましたね。いくつもレザーは買いましたが個人的には以降バタフライタイプは買わないようにしています。余談：メルクール、パーカーともアジャスタブルタイプのものもヘッドが厚く鼻の下、特に鼻の穴直下に刃を当てにくいですね。

Very good value. The weight is nice and the finish is great. A quality product at a very reasonable price. I am glad I chose Amazon to buy through. Delivery was simple and I paired it with the Shark Double Edge Safety Razor Blades, so they arrived together. Was also surprised to find a 5% voucher off my next purchase in the delivery box. I been using the cartridge blades system for years. Now shifted to double edge blades. This is my first DE razor. Excellent razor- perfect weight and angle. I use it with feather blades. Excellent combination.

A well made butterfly type DE Razor. Shaves well. Not for everyday use since it’s on the aggressive side. It’s perfect for a 4-5 days worth of stubble.I like:- Butterfly head and so it’s super easy to load and unload a razor- Perfect for tough stubble- Well built- Handle has nice gripI don’t like- The fact that it’s aggressive for me and hence it’s not an everyday razor (look at Parker 87R for everyday use)- It’s not a very close shave but it’s perfect enough that you won’t feel the razor burn after a single pass- Could’ve been heavier so that the weight of the razor does the work rather than you pressing harderMy use- Trigodon shaving soap- Wilkinson Sword blades

Nice weight and easy to use with the butterfly doors. Make sure the butterfly doors are tight so it doesn't rattle while you use it other wise great.
