## Description

Great for commuters who need to quickly flash transit cards and work badges, the New Yorker wallet from Big Skinny features two ID pockets with clear windows and thumb-activated holes for quick and easy card access. The New Yorker also features six pockets that hold three plastic cards apiece. The extra-wide pockets are lined with a rubbery coating to prevent cards from slipping out. Designed with rounded corners for comfort, it's constructed of a lightweight, water resistant nylon microfiber material that is 5 to 7 times thinner and lighter than leather. It's machine washable for easy care and it dries out in about 20 minutes. The New Yorker wallet measures 4 x 3 Inch (and 6 mm thin when empty). The __ wallet measures __ x __ Inch (and __ mm thin when empty). The first Big Skinny wallet was designed by Kiril Stefan Alexandrov (the company's founder) because he loathed sitting on a thick, heavy leather wallet. Review: holds a lot, works great either folded or unfolded - I've had this wallet for a year and a half, and I really like it. It is not showing any wear - no stiches coming apart or fabric fraying - which is pretty impressive. I haven't tried stuffing it to the max, but it has always held more than enough for me. Right now I have 4 cards inside of sleeves, 6 other cards not in sleeves, driver's license, some cash folded up, and I could easily put in much more. I really like the fact that the card slots are wide enough that I can put cards into RFID-blocking sleeves and they still fit. Another thing that I really like is that the wallet works well either folded in half or left open without folding. Depending on pocket/purse configuration it is nice to be able to maximize the thinness if the space is big enough for the wallet to be open, e.g. like when put in the zipped area on the back side of a fannypack. In fact, the ability to have this longer-but-thinner configuration this was a major reason I tried this product, and it worked exactly as I had hoped. I remember when I bought it that I thought it was a little pricey just for something nylon, but given the quality and utility, I would definitely buy it again and feel it is a bargain. The raised logo badge on the wallet hasn't been an issue for me, but if the manufacturer did a redesign, they could get it just a little thinner by redesigning that aspect. All in all, an excellent wallet that maximizes utility while minimizing the space it takes and holds up with use.

A: 4 x 3 Inch

**Q: If you put in the full 24 cards and after awhile take them all out, does the wallet material get stretched out?**
A: 24 cards would exceed what I believe is a reasonable limit.  The cards would be packed tight and difficult to remove from the wallet.

**Q: What is the weight of this New Yorker card holder?**
A: Empty; about 2 oz. Full; about 3 to 4 oz.  BTW I love mine, because it holds just what I need when I don't want to carry my full purse.

I've had this wallet for a year and a half, and I really like it. It is not showing any wear - no stiches coming apart or fabric fraying - which is pretty impressive. I haven't tried stuffing it to the max, but it has always held more than enough for me. Right now I have 4 cards inside of sleeves, 6 other cards not in sleeves, driver's license, some cash folded up, and I could easily put in much more. I really like the fact that the card slots are wide enough that I can put cards into RFID-blocking sleeves and they still fit. Another thing that I really like is that the wallet works well either folded in half or left open without folding.
