How do you prevent leaks at the joints that control height and angle? There aren't enough washers to fix them if you have to disassemble for setup?

First use enough teflon, like 6 turns and tightened it well till nuts can turn anymore for both joints! But don't use extra washer, just one each.

It's 3 feet long. Plenty of length to clean the shower with.
