Good coffee for people who like it roasted deep ~
As great at it is well known, the coffee brings in the dark taste and my parents really loved them when I gave them as a gift. Also gave it to my GF and she honestly told me it was too dark for her and preferred more of a mild coffee, so I would recommend this coffee to those of you who already like or tried several different brands of dark coffee and liked it. Or to those of you that just want to journey the world of dark coffee that could be bit bitter initially. In the end, it's a good coffee brand with freshly roasted beans and have a great smell flowing through the beg. Would definitely say no regrets!

My Wife’s Expression
My wife, our resident coffee connoisseur, had recently commented that the coffee I purchased from a Wisconsin roaster and made her one morning was “off”. I subsequently added cinnamon to hide whatever it was she found wrong until the pound was consumed. I purchased your product as a test, received it surprisingly quickly, and delivered her first fresh-brewed cup this morning. Her eyes lit up immediately and she commented how good this was. Her ability to notice the difference is uncanny and her expression was worth the expense. As for me, I added my stevia and cream knowingly destroying the time and effort you put into your superior product. I will look forward to doing this again at special family gatherings as I’m afraid she’s passed her sensitivity onto our children. Thank you and every person involved in producing and providing this wonderful product.

Weak gas station coffee just cleaner, but a lot more caffeine.
It’s fresh. You can definitely smell that! Flavor is clean but very weak compared to over the counter coffees; nowhere near worth the money. If you want the best, accurate opinion? It taste like “buyers remorse.” Spin the wheel.

The coffee is great!
I space out my consumption of the more expensive coffees. I drink fresh Guatemalan coffee as my morning pre work or pre day rituatl. Sometimes midday I will brew up a cup of Kenyan with a touch of half and half. The Kenyan is what was my favorite coffee was the 70s and still is. So once or twice a week, when I really want to experience a mellow coffee experience, I will grind up a cup of Jamaica Blue Mountain. It matches the experience I had once in Jamaica when I discovered the Blue Mountain coffee. This product met my expectations. thanks

Excellent coffee
This coffee is very good. I ordered a pound of whole beans. It arrived about 45 days after it was roasted. I used a blade grinder and made it in a French press. It was great. I'm only giving it 4 stars because I do think its somewhat over priced. $90 is a bit high, even for Jamaica Blue Mountain. But the quality of the product is superb.

The best coffee as expected from Blue Mountain
As many serious coffee drinkers know, 80% of Blue Mountain coffee goes to Japan. Japanese love coffee. They spend many hours in small cafes enjoying coffee and other delicacies. So, I was introduced to Blue Mountain 30 years ago while I was in Japan. I still remember its smooth taste when I had it in Japan. I got the urge to get Blue Mountain again but I couldn't find it in nearby cafes. So, I ordered it from Amazon but very skeptical since there were many Blue listed from low to high prices. I chose the one with highest review rating - not for price but for taste. I got the package. Nice sweet roasted flavor emerged as I opened the package. I tried with French Press first but I did not get sweet oily taste I remember. Next, I used Cuisinart Grind & Brew (for one cup). It grinds beans to very fine powder and drips very slowly for about 3 minutes. The Blue Mountain taste came alive as I remember and probably even better. I used the same coffee filter (after removing previous coffee grinds) for the second cup. Believe it or not, it made better coffee due to slower dripping, about 4 minutes. It takes trial and error to make a great cup of coffee. I'll grind finer for French press next time. I extend my appreciation to Amazon and Volcanica Coffee to bring great coffee back for me.

I tried really hard to like this, but it's just not my cup of tea
With Covid lockdowns, I've been trying to up my coffee game for the last few months. I went from Keurig, to Drip Coffee, to French Press, to Metal Filterless Pour Over, to Ceramic Filtered Pour Over. I also went from K-cup, to pre-ground, to whole bean ground in an electric grinder, to whole bean ground in a precision hand-grinder. All along this evolution, I've clearly seen and tasted the difference, and was very happy to never spend $3 for a cup of coffee again. I then looked up where to get the best beans, and this Volcanica Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee kept coming up. It's 10-15x more expensive than the other coffee I get, but I was able to justify it because it would work to being as much as a coffee shop, but for the "best coffee in the world". I've made about a few cups of this coffee already using Drip, Metal Filterless Pour Over, and Ceramic Filtered Pour Over, and with recommended grind sizes, while using precise measurements with a pocket scale measured to the 0.1 gram, and a gooseneck electric kettle with precise temperature settings. Unfortunately, I can't make myself like this coffee using any method. The flavor is just bitter. I'm not getting any notes of anything. Just bitterness. And this is using a ceramic filtered pour over. With the metal filterless pour over, I'll get some more of the oils, which just makes this really bitter. I'm happy to have at least tried this out once in my life. It helped me realize that "more expensive" doesn't always mean better. For now, I'll just stick to my local market's freshly roasted beans and AmazonFresh beans.
