I think that an increase of $3 a bottle is price gouging! I am not happy with that after using for months at the lower price. True everything has increased in price usually an average of .50 cents for this price range. That's the problem when you find a good product and write positive reviews to share with others. They get greedy and raise the price....HoHum! I do however, like the product and even tried a different product that was stronger but didn't give the relief from pain that this one does. So like everyone else, I am stuck with the price increase because the company or distributor got greedy! I ordered this time but will look for a different distributor or the company website in the future. I was confused because some people had different reactions to taking it initially so I went to different sources to find out why. I found out that this is an anti-oxidant and cleanses toxins from your body. Some people that have built up toxins will experience headaches, stomach upset or other reactions. If that is the situation always take with food and reduce the amount you are taking. Also, taking with Vitamin C will help with how it absorbs into your body. Make sure that if taking medications that you space about 2 hours before or after when taking with Vitamin C or your medications won't be as effective. After taking a comfortable amount for about 2 weeks then slowly increase. Also, it is unusual but some people cannot take sulfur and do have reactions. I did not have any negative side effects with this brand when starting with 2 in the morning and two at dinner. I felt the effects within a couple of days in my knees that were very painful. I started walking again daily (about 15 min) and the results got better and pain free. During the winter when I was less active, they didn't work as well but still better than taking medications. So staying active is key. I did find that my hair grew faster and my skin is more even toned which were another plus. They are good for your digestive system and removing toxins as I mentioned above and also helps with allergies. I am giving small amounts to my dog with peanut butter and her nasal allergies are better. You should also drink plenty of water to aid the release of toxins or you could get headaches. I really like the product just not the price now. With so much competition for this product, I don't think it was a good idea for such a drastic price increase. I have also read where some people have had a good experience for dental issues and would like to know more. Overall it sounds like MSM is a very beneficial product and I plan to keep taking.

I recommend this to everyone and anyone. During my active duty military career, I have unfortunately experienced several injuries; left wrist dislocated multiple times, each knee experiencing pain, pops, and left knee slightly hyperextended, an ACL tear on the right knee, both ankles experienced ligament tears, hyperextension of right shoulder which caused tendinitis, almost constant back pain, and trochanteric busitis amongst others. It could have been much worse, thankfully they weren’t so my initial recovery was successful and timely and it didn’t interfere with my capabilities to exercise and complete all of my duties and responsibilities during my service, or even after I started the next chapter of my life as a civilian. However, it started to come back and haunt me.. Hiking became much too painful, running for more than a half a mile made me tear up with pain, and soon long walks with my husband became something that we no longer were able to share and enjoy. I would barely manage to walk 2 miles on a very, very good day before my knees, hip, and back started to scream. My mother told me about MSM and how she had been taking them for a while. Her gums bled every single time she brushed her teeth for 7 years - she said that completely stopped after only 3 weeks of taking MSM. She said her back now felt better, and her knees no longer locked up or felt sensitive sitting up or down. I immediately ordered some and took it especially after reading that MSM helps and supports connective tissue and cartilage. Within only 1 month, I experienced relief and strength, it was incredible! That first month, I didn’t participate in any physical exertion, but the usual aches I would feel during work or doing chores around the house, felt much, much better. The second month of taking MSM every single day, I was able to make it a full mile without any pain! Only around the 1.5 mile distance, I started to hurt again. I walked 3 miles with my husband without needing to stop due to pain at the 4 month mark. Currently, I have been taking MSM for over 3 years. I was so overjoyed with being able to enjoy activities with family and majority of the time completely pain free that I was shocked and ashamed when I realized I hadn’t left a review immediately when I saw these changes. But I can now confidently share this since I’ve been taking it for a long period of time. I feel tremendously grateful and blessed that my health can now support me running 5 miles on the treadmill, 3 to 4 times a week before feeling any type of injury related pain, and walk 8-9 miles with my husband before feeling any type of pain related to my injuries. My knees are now able to handle 230-250 lbs on the leg press without any pain. I can finally do shoulder presses again without reliving the injury with every rep. I need to stress and cannot stress enough that around the same time I start to take MSM, I also radically changed my eating habits to a clean and much healthier diet. Prior to MSM, I was far too lenient with my eating choices and my sleep cycle was out of rhythm. Around the time I took MSM was when I simultaneously committing myself to improving areas in my life that I tended to ignore like food, sleep, and water consumption. Lots of water, only natural sugar derived from the food/fruit itself, absolutely no processed meat or artificial sugars, lots of organic veggies, fruits, healthy omega fats, and fish dominated our meals and have stayed this way. On top of this, I started to take several different supplements, multivitamins, and drank tea replacing sugary beverages. For me, MSM is a game changer, but I want to make sure that my review isn’t misleading and sounding as if MSM is an absolutely/instant cure and could be seen as a supplement with almost magic-like properties, results, and benefits. I apologize if it sounded that way, it really was not my intention. I give so much credit to MSM because a lot of the pain from my injuries are tissue and cartilage that are now almost completely gone, But there are just so many other changes, habits, and factors that contributed to my boost in health and I again apologize if my review sounded misleading. I consider myself truly blessed and fortunate to experience such amazing changes and I simply encourage anyone who has obstacles due to pain to give this a try considering the positive results I experienced. I genuinely pray that you are able to experience better health and relief from pain through this.

I LOVE this brand of MSM. I have tried so many different brands of MSM, including those that incorporate other ingredients like glucosamine. This brand in this form works the best for me. I have recommended it to friends & family. We all love it. Throughout my review, I will refer to it as "this MSM" because I have tried many other brands. I have also tried MSM products with other ingredients like glucosamine added to it. I always return to this MSM because it works unlike any other. I started taking this MSM when I was training for a marathon. I could feel it working in a matter of a couple of days. I no longer woke up with sore joints, which meant that I could run longer. It was an absolute game-changer. I also play the violin, so my finger joints are often sore. With this MSM, I can rigorously prepare for performances without experiencing physical pain. When my mom told me that the joints in her hands were so stiff that she could not bend/unbend her fingers, I immediately thought to send her a bottle of this MSM. Her work is very hands-on, so she was always in pain. She regularly went to the doctor to get cortisone shots. for some temporary relief. My mom's experience with this MSM was similar to my own. She felt the effects in about two days. She no longer felt pain in her hands. She could bend & unbend her fingers again. She has since stopped going to the doctor for those cortisone shots. She takes two capsules of MSM, twice a day, & has had no joint issues from that point forward. I have her signed up on my Subscribe & Save, so she has a good supply. This MSM is a must-have in her daily routine. I also recommended it to my husband, who suffers from carpal tunnel syndrome in both of his hands/arms. I tend to comment on the fact that my two titanium knees are a godsend, yet for ten years prior to to the moment my orthopedist finally said that the damage to my knees was significant enough to trigger the surgery I lived on MSM to relieve the pain and make the act of walking and actively working a reality. I have read that MSM is not effective for all people, however for the subset that it does cause relief, I highly recommend it. I stopped taking it for about six years after the knee replacements then my shoulder started aching. After a couple cortisone shots, I started retaking the product and my shoulder is much better, allowing the activity I want including throwing the ball for my dog and all the garden work, and other hhysical labor I do every day.

This is a high quality product and is used for pain relief and joint health.

I had been told that MSM may help support healthy tissues, including the body's membranes. I don't know exactly how it works, but I do know what it did for me. When my eyes became itchy and watery, allergy medications only provided partial relief. They seemed to mask the symptoms, but I could still feel the irritation and tearing underneath. Then I remembered a friend's recommendation to try MSM. I was amazed by the results. I noticed a significant improvement within just three days. I started by taking four capsules twice a day as a loading dose. Once my symptoms were under control, I reduced the amount to two capsules twice a day. After that, my eye allergy symptoms disappeared completely, and I no longer needed to take my allergy medication. Of course, this is only my personal experience, and everyone responds differently. But if you struggle with itchy, watery eyes and haven't found adequate relief, MSM may be worth discussing with your healthcare provider. You might be pleasantly surprised by how much it helps.

First of all, I am a 45 year old woman with 2 kids. I lost a lot of hair with my 2 children. I do lots of research though, and soon learned why the hair loss occurs and that it would grow back. It did.... however, it never again grew back to the left it had been before, which was about 2 inches below the bra strap on my back. My pregnancies had affected the anagen phase (growing phase) of my hair by shortening it. I did not cut my hair for SIX years, not even a trim, and my hair refused to grow longer, it remained 1 inch above my bra strap, and refused to grow back to where it was. That said, my hair WAS growing normally! I dye my hair, so it is easy to measure the growth in a months time, by measuring the length of my natural color at the root between touching up the color. My average growth rate was 1 inch per month. Thats really good growth, right? So then why was my hair staying the same length? I did research into the growth cycle of head hair, and discovered why. The anagen phase controls how long the hair will grow before it is shed. Apparently, because the growing phase of my hair was shortened by pregnancy hormones that permanently changed it... my hair was spending less time growing and fell out sooner, leading to shorter hair, and the length it had grown to above my bra band was the maximum limit now. No fair! I wanted to kn I w if I could change that at all, maybe take hormones or something. I researched stuff like monixidil for women, but those products are for people that are losing too much hair and gave thinning hair. I wasn't going bald, I was going SHORT. I also read about biotin, but the thing with biotin is, it does nothing for you unless you have a biotin deficiency, which I did not. It also will do nothing to make hair LONGER. It just helps it to grow at a normal rate if you are deficient. SO.... I purchased these supplements after having read that some people have had success in lengthening the amount of time their hair follicles would spend in the anagen phase and hopefully lengthen that phase, thus lengthen my hair overall. So I purchased 2 bottles, because I also read that it takes 3 months to kick in. Each bottle contains 2 months worth of doses (if you take the minimum dose of 2 pills each day). I'm a HUGE skeptic. I dont trust anything, but I'm certainly game to try. I took 2 pills per day and after emptying the first bottle, I had zero length. I wasn't shocked. I honestly didn't expect the pills would do anything at all. But, by the time I had finished the second bottle (nearly 4 months) my hair was at the middle of my bra strap accross my back!! I was completely floored. After SIX years of no noticeable change in the length of my hair, my hair was growing longer! Now, I am on my third bottle, halfway through and my hair is still growing. I'm completely amazed, and totally happy. My hair has grown 2 inches longer in 5 months. I'm going to keep using MS as long as I need to to keep it growing longer. With luck, it will go back to the length it was before I had children :)

I have been using this on and off for quite a while now. It took me a while to notice and make the connection, but this stops my scalp from flaking! I have had this my whole life, and really it isn't that bad usually. Some dandruff shampoos make my hair greasy by the end of the day, some make my hair fall out. For the past few weeks while having a flaking scalp episode, I have been using a "thinning" shampoo and taking MSM, 2 every morning. I swear my scalp is clear. No flakes, itching, dryness, bumps, redness,... This most recent flare up was the worst it has ever been though. The flaking and redness sometimes would affect my forehead, eyebrows, and ear as well. This is clear now too. This is amazing! I recently started taking this daily for hair growth and accidentally fixed the flaking too. 1 year later, I am still using this daily, 2 pills. I have noticed that my joints are no longer ache at all, ever. That was something that started in my 30's and progressively got worse. I did at one point take some protease enzymes and within a month, all inflammation in my body was gone. This maintains that for me and is cheaper than the protease enzymes (Repair Gold, Enzymedica) If I ever get joint inflammation again, I would absolutely take the Enzymedica again, but this has prevented it from coming back for me. Scalp and skin are clear still. I have found that lemongrass oil fixes dandruff so I add that to my son's shampoo as he does not take pills at all. I suppose my son inherited some defective gene.....

I have just started on this product and find it effective. I take 2 doses each of 2000mg MSM in the morning and at night after food. Avoid taking MSM on an empty stomach as it will upset ones stomach. Also the dosage per day must be carefully adjusted to suit ones intake. Initally, I started with 3 doses of 2000mg MSM and ended with an upset stomach. I feel that I am perfectly good with just 2 doses 0f 2000mg MSM which equals to 4000mg per day.

It was good, I noticed some effect but for me collagen worked more. It depends on the person
