Studio Dry Microfiber Hair Towel, Black, 0.35 Pound

Every few weeks or so, I travel about an hour to have someone apply my non-toxic hair color because I always miss spots. I have to keep it on for several hours and it’s a bit messy because, well, a wet pack of henna and indigo powder is messy, and when it escapes the little plastic cap, it can dribble and stain things. So I have always used an additional microfiber twist type of towel to keep it in place for the drive home and around the house. None of my twist towels have escaped being stained. And they are either solid lavender or a really loud bright purple and white print. When I’m driving home, I really don’t want that much attention on me. So I thought I’d get a black towel. So I ordered one on Amazon that looked black,… But it wasn’t. So I returned it. Then I tried this one. It works, it is neutral, but I must admit it’s rather bulky and I have to hang onto it when I get into the car because it tends to hit the roof of the car as I enter and exit it. But I really like this towel, unexpectedly I decided to mostly use it every day in my own bathroom. It unexpectedly fits in very nicely with my natural theme, especially the way my towels are hung. Because The blue colored indigo doesn’t come all the way out at my first washing, I have been using my oldest and darkest towels to dry my hair on those days. Now I can just use this black fluffy towel on my head every day, as well as bring it with me on coloring days. So even though the towel cost more than I really wanted to pay, I am getting a lot more cost per use out of it. It operates just like a twist towel, with a piece of elastic loop at the back. But don’t expect it to be tight and fitted. It takes a little more time and effort to get it into place securely, But I like how it looks on my head more than the smaller, tighter ones. I know, I know. It’s only for about five minutes, But I’m just the kind of person who loves appreciating the tiny luxuries of life. Incidentally, I also wrote this to let people know that they can color their hair without toxic chemicals… For me, the combination of a little bit of amla plus henna (1 part), indigo (2-3 parts) and a bit of salt (to activate the indigo) blends perfectly with my original dark ash brown hair. you can get other colors of brown and Auburn, or enhance your own blonde hair with other combinations of plant powders. And there is a two-step process for achieving black hair. This coloring process also helps give more weight and body to the hair. The only downside is that it’s a very bad idea to bleach hair after you have applied henna. You have to resign yourself to just growing it out, possibly with foils/highlighting techniques so that the process looks more natural.
