Maybe it might not work in your kurig.
I bought these in june drink them just in the evening. For some reason they are now exploding in the kurig. I thought it was a fluke but now its a pattern. Im sure its not the machine because the other victor allen coffees i use have never done this. It leaves a gaping hole in the top. I think the foil thats used for the lid is to weak or there's to much air in the top, they look like little jiffy pops. Anyway im tired of straining my coffee so i will be looking into a different decaf. UPDATE UPDATE! clean out keurig completely ran the kcup three different blends of the victor allen. All 3 bursted, when i put the coffee in a generic kcup that i use for my own coffee no probem. Deduction the heat melts the lid away from the cup, the pressure blows it off. I have a big gapping hole in the lid and it is completely detached from every one of the kcups. Solution there are two, take the coffee out and put it into a generic kcup, or don't buy it. I believe this was shipped from a high attitude to low and there is to much pressure in it. I like this coffee buy it at my local big lots no problem ever. I will still buy but the 200 cups i have from amazon i guess i'll have to resort to putting in generic kcups. Just another factor when buying outside my norm. Don't blame amazon etc just happens. UPDATE well opening each of these putting in generic kcup is a real pain. So i taped the lid down works. Yes it is nonsense but i have 200 cups and im not going to clean out the grounds each time for those. What ever it takes. Update again, took small piece of plastic like a milk carton cut it in the exact size of kcup lid placed it over the cup put it in let needle puncture hole. Never had another problem, the pressure of the plastic holds the cup in place, the heat doesn't melt the plastic and now the plastic stays in place and all is well 100 kcups to go. Where there's a will there's a way.

More of a light roast in my opinion.
Just my opinion here. This is advertised as a medium roasted coffee. I found it to be more of light roast as far as flavor depth is concerned. If I use the strong option on a Keurig pod machine, I can get it closer to a medium roast. Also, I could not find what caffeine extraction process was used, I did not see that listed on the packaging. Personally, I prefer a non-chemical process. Overall, this offering is a good choice for anyone on a tight budget, It's a good value per pod. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Price per pod.

Grounds come out.
Coffee tastes fine but those plastic containers don't always work right. They kind of explode in my Coffee maker. I'll get Coffee grounds all over my maker & in my cup of coffee. Now it won't let me give another picture.
