I was looking forward to reading this book after being recommended by my sister. The book arrived damaged..it looks like a sharp object has gone through the front cover and left half of the paper back open. Not ideal as I was hoping to pass this book onto my children, in the near future. I can’t return the book either as the next delivery is mid November, hence the 3 stars.On the plus side, the book has a lot of personal stories about forgiveness, which makes it relatable to the reader’s situation and experience.

Schon lange lese ich verschiedene Bücher aus der Reihe "Hühnersuppe für die Seele". Diese Bücher sind wahre Herz-und Seelenöffner. Immer wieder ermutigend, sich in Krisenzeiten selbst Rückhalt geben zu können. Da nicht alle Bücher ins Deutsche übersetzt worden sind und mein English ausreicht,kann man bei den Originalbüchern noch sehr viel mehr interessante Themen finden.

I bought this book thinking that it would be heart warming and allow me to reflect on my own life situations and forgive. However, I found the stories to be really intense for me like the ones with father molesting his own daughter or a grandma molesting her own grand kids. Being pregnant, I really felt like I was tormenting myself with these stories and stopped reading it. Some stories are sweet and heart touching but just be careful, If you not expecting content that can be quite disturbing!
