Can it hold the entire 11 lb box of kinetic sand?** A: The container could probably hold it all but the kids wouldn't be able to play with it because it would be so full. And really, don't waste your money. I think it was way too expensive for what you get. If I had a chance to rethink spending that much money on a container to hold sand, I would! They sell similar containers for $5 at many stores that would do the job just as well. The lid doesn't really snap on. Was very disappointed! **Q: Can the child sit in it?** A: This "Sandbox", and I use the term loosely is a "4 litre US Really Useful Box", google that. It's designed to hold paper. Most office supply stores sell then for around $8. Don't buy this. As to your question - if your child can comfortably sit on as 8 1/2 X 11 standard sheet of paper then they'll have no problem sitting in the box. **Q: How much sand does this box hold?** A: It depends on the type of sand. It would likely hold 20 lbs of play sand, and 1--12 lbs of moon sand and kinetic sand. **Q: How big is it?** A: 10X13.5 inches. Large enough to hold two boxes of Kinetic sand. ## Frequently Bought Together - Small 4 Liter Portable Sand Tray with Lid - Sandtastik Sparkling White Play Sand, 25 lb (11.3 kg) - Fill Sandboxes, Sand Trays, Sensory Tables, Water Tables!
