DERMA E Microdermabrasion Scrub with Dead Sea Salt & Citrus Essential Oils – Facial Exfoliating Scrub Smooths, Revitalizes and Renews – Ideal for Scars and Wrinkles, 2oz

I am 79 years old and really don't have a lot of wrinkles, but have recently noticed the pores on my face looked enlarged even though I wash my face twice a day with a moisturizing facial cleaner. I decided to try this facial scrub because of the many positive reviews, and I am so glad that I did. After washing my face with my usual cleaner, I apply this facial scrub and massage it onto my face in a circular motion for at least 1 minute as suggested in the instructions. Then I rinse my face and pat dry. I have been doing this twice a week, and have noticed a difference after the first couple of times I used it. My face looks smoother, healthier, and the enlarged pores are going away. I also like the subtle smell of this cleanser. It actually feels relaxing. This facial scrub has become a permanent product in the care of my facial skin and I would highly recommend it. I hope this review was helpful for you.

I am a regular user of Paula's Choice skin care products; however, that line does not have any type of scrub. So, I have been on the search for a scrub. After trying a few different ones, I have finally found the perfect one for me. My goal was to find a micro fine scrub that has almost a pumice stone texture to it, & one that does not produce any type of lather, silky liquid, etc. I just wanted a gritty substance to polish my skin, and this scrub fits that description exactly. Plus, the lemony scent is heavenly. Some people are under the impression that a facial scrub is the same as a cleanser, but they are two separate things. The purpose of a scrub is to slough off dead skin cells adhering to the surface of the skin. A scrub like this one acts almost like a microdermabrasion treatment one may have at a spa, which also acts to smooth the pores and ultimately 'refine' the texture of the skin. Conversely, the purpose of a cleanser is to wash/clean away dirt and oils from the skin and pores. TO USE: because the texture is so micro fine, only a pea-sized amount is needed for the face. I use it in the shower with only damp hands. I lightly rub in large circles on my face for about 1 minute, and then rinse. And again, because this is such a micro fine scrub, I would not recommend using more than three times per week, otherwise you risk damaging your skin. And, rub lightly - the scrub will do it's job perfectly! When I was out of the shower, my skin had a significantly smoother texture; it looked and felt great. I have not found this scrub to be drying whatsoever when used alongside of other facial products afterward. This scrub will also double as a great foot scrub. Wow- this is excellent. I have had a hard time finding the right micro dermabrasion product and previously paid twice the cost of this product. I love it - smooth, light pleasant smell and washes off clean.

I first became acquainted with Derma E products a few years ago, during Covid and my "beauty influencer era" on Instagram lol. Derma E was very popular with many content creators and I am intrigued by their gentle and effective formulas and cruelty free, vegan promises. I have oily combination skin, and many of their products work well for me, including this one. When I'm using it regularly (1-2x/week), in conjunction with an effective skincare routine, I notice the microdermabrasion properties of this scrub work to make my daily skincare routine more effective, buy buffing away impurities and dead skin cells, improving my skins overall texture, and detoxing my pores with the kaolin clay. I much prefer the dead sea salt that is used in this scrub to exfoliate, instead of walnut shells and other, potentially harsh exfoliates. The dead sea salt has a texture very similar to diamond dust, and they overall consistency of the scrub is a creamy, fine milled, somewhat gritty scrub. While you massage the product on clean, wet skin, the dead sea salt seemingly melts as it exfoliates, and the citrus oil blend along with sweet almond, grape seed and jojoba seed oils leave nourishing properties behind to help sooth your skin. The result is exfoliated skin that is glowy, without feeling dry. I purchase a jar once every 2-3 months, and I often give these as gifts to the women in my family. This products is marketed towards people with uneven texture, dull complexions, and wrinkles. It has a light, spa like scent, and is essentially a spa-grade product you can use from home. If you're looking for an exfoliate to add to your skin care routine, I would recommend you give this one a try. It works well with many different skin types, and is quite affordable when you can catch it on sale, or buy it on subscription, like I do, for under $20/jar.

This is the 2nd Derma E product I've tried and I love it! It has a slight citrus smell, the scrub seems like it would be really thick, but once you get it on your skin it thins out and is easy to use- and my face? My face is GLOWING even the following day. Derma E products are the bomb! Buy this!

Great gentle scrub...consistant product

This brand, & this product in particular are top notch in my book! All with the "Ethical Beauty" stamp of approval. My daughter & I first heard about this brand & their products after I requested a sample pack they offered of their Vitamin C serum(white container with yellow writing), clay mask microdermabrasion (white tube, lime green writing, both also MUST tries!!) plus samples of this one as well. Weve all seen masses of ads for microdermabrasion scrubs & treatments- the inexpensive to astronomical celeb favs, though Ive never had a spa facial or microderm treatment, I feel like this product is the next best thing. These are priced so well, especially for what you get. As a 46yr old woman, Im starting to notice those issues we all hear about in our 20s, but usually dont give thought to so I need products that work & Im a frugal gal so this brand is perfect! The amount of product you get is well worth the money, many are very inexpensive & either way will last a long time. After applying this scrub as directed & rinsing off, your face wants to do a dance! LoL I personally feel like Im treating myself & my skin when using them. Its one of those things where you dont realize how grimy your skin is until after & how many layers & layers of dead skin "growing" from the elements, leftover makeup that wipes dont remove, sweat, dirt, etc revealing bright, fresh, tightened, baby soft, renewed skin. Id love to have a body scrub! This is going to sound cliche, (my daughter just laughed when I told her) but after using it for the first time I SWEAR my face looked younger, skin firmer & plump! I wish I had a way to tell the differences or keep track of changes, but regardless we are hooked! I think the company offer samples from time to time, I say just buy the full size, you wont be sorry! I think they even sell the DERMA E line at Target, but Amazon usually has great deals.
