Small. Sharp. Sturdy.
Bought this specifically for loaf cakes and breads. Smaller than the traditional bread knives which is what I wanted. Sharp and slices nicely, doesnโt crush the loaf. Itโs light but not flimsy. Feels good in hand. Picture taken by an 8-inch loaf cake.

Perfect in-between size, super sharp!

Right tool for the job!
I have been baking bread for years (old fashioned hand formed sourdough as well as sandwich loaves in a machine). I used to use the bread knife that came with my kitchen knives set. Then one day, I discovered this product and ordered. What a difference it makes when slicing bread. Right tool for the job and it sure makes a difference!Also useful in slices cakes. I was effortlessly able to slice 9โ cakes to fill and layer with this knife.
