These arrived in a simple branded box. I started using Elmer’s glue sticks around seven years ago, and they work for my intended purpose perfectly. When I started 3D printing to obtain firm bed adhesion this brand was recommended to me, and I have found they work perfectly. The glue washes off both the prints and the bed really easily with warm water leaving no residue. I did try the larger sticks of this brand but find this size ideal for dispensing along with good value as they last ages. I can’t fault this product and would certainly recommend it to anyone 3D printing.

Modern 3D printers come with printing surfaces which have excellent adhesion properties. Why would you want to use this glue? Excessive adhesion can be as much of a problem as insufficient adhesion. This glue can be used as a "buffer layer" to protect your printing surface. It prevents lifting of sharp corner features while preventing lifting of print surface coating material. If an item adheres too well to a non-removable print surface just power off the printer and surround the printed object with wetted tissue paper. The water will soften the glue, migrating under the first layer, after which the print can be removed. This glue, being PVP rather than PVA, works better than some other glue sticks in this application.

Ich nutze den Stick für den 3D Druck um warping zu vermeiden. Ich hatte immer Probleme bei großen Drucken das sich Ecken oder Kanten vom Bett lösten. Einstellungen im Slicer oder am Drucker änderten daran nicht viel, schlussendlich habe ich dann zum Klebestick gegriffen nachdem ich gehört habe das dieser helfen soll. Das funktioniert einwandfrei und noch besser als ich gehofft hatte. Ich trage den Stick auf ein strukturiertes PEI Druckbett auf und habe keine Probleme, und das entfernen des Klebers vom Druckbett funktioniert auch sehr einfach unter Spüle mit einem weichen Schwamm, man sieht durch die Farbänderung sehr schön wo noch Kleberreste vorhanden sind. Die Farbänderung hilft beim auftragen den man sieht sofort ob es Flächendeckend ist oder noch etwas fehlt. Und die Farbänderung ist auch sehr hilfreich um nach dem druck zu kontrollieren ob Kleberreste auf dem Model sind.
