If your patient is paralyzed in bed and you are the sole caregiver, this is a must buy! After a stroke, I had trouble rolling my husband on his side or pulling him up in his hospital bed at home, as he kept sliding down. I was so happy with the product, I immediately purchased a second one as these are washable. NOTE: wash in cold water and hang to dry. DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DRYER. This product is fantastic. I have been using it for about a month now. Washes easy, air dries quick.My mother had a stroke and is completely paralyzed on the right side, she is incontinent, basically bed ridden (I can use a hoyer lift to get her into a recliner or wheelchair but she is fully reliant on someone else moving her) This sheet makes my life so much easier and it is more comfortable for her to be rolled with this than just using my hands.Mom is about 5’6” and 260lbs I can easily roll her to either side, pull her up in bed, sit her up and slide her to the center of the bed by myself with this sheet.The only thing I wish was that this was a bit more breathable so that I could keep it under her all the time, she gets a bit sweaty and uncomfortable if it’s under her for an extended period of time. However if this was more breathable I doubt it would be as easy to use.

I care for my elderly Mother who is now bed ridden... It's hard for her to turn over. I got this need past with the handles so I could move her around in the bed alone... The pad slides very easily over the sheet and it handles are positioned in such a way that I'm able too roll her from side to side and pull her up towards the head of the bed with ease and very little discomfort for my Mother.It is machine washable but I haven't had to wash it yet... It is not waterproof so any liquid spilled on the pad will sleep through... handles are reinforced and strong I pull and yank them several times a day and they are still holding strong. My Mother is 5'7" tall, 9i lbs and the pad reaches from her shoulders to just below the bend of her knees. I recommend this pad for anyone who is caring for someone without assistance.

This is fantastic for positioning a someone in bed. The handles make it so much easier then just the bed pads alone. Wishing we would have bought this sooner for my Mom who had a stroke and lost her ability to use her left arm & leg.

This product functions exactly as described making it much easier to readjust a patient further up in the bed.The issue that I had is because it is such a good slide. Patients naturally tend to slide down in the bed, necessitating repositioning them. I find that the patient slides down even quicker with the slide, and having to reposition the patient much more frequently.
